Every single day or night...EVERY 24 hours at some point The Mother wants the checkbook "just so I can send so and so $10 or $15 or (EVEN GASP) $25". WTH?!? She does NOT have the money to be doing this...and those checks never reach the mail box either. She is 99 and going on 3 yrs old.

One of the very best things to happen here was when a woman stole the letters out of our mailbox...from that point I was assigned/given the duty to take required mail a couple of miles up the road to a post office. The fact that Mama NEVER has truly balanced the checkbook doesn't hurt either. lol smdh

Probably not, I doubt they understand abstraction like us.

 

Hmm, my dog will still follow a cartoon dog that doesn't look like a dog fairly closely to assume he knows what he thinks he's seeing.

 

And let's not forget that hysteric video of the woman with the fake horse head for her horse.

 

And my rabbits still at first, went up to my fake felt rabbits knowing exactly what it was, but it didn't move so they became uninterested.

 

I've tried to show a cat cats on tv, visuals did nothing for it but when they meowed on tv it perked it's ears up and seemed inquisitive.

 

There are videos on YouTube made specifically for cats, they're usually of birds and squirrels frolicking in the woods and things like that. And my cat loves them. He jumps on the tv stand and sits like two inches away from the screen and watches them completely transfixed lol

 

In that 2nd pic, he looks like he knows something!

I don't think that big "cookie" that covered a plate and DID look like a cat head went unnoticed by the real cat. lol

He looked like he didn't think that was very funny. I had a few pics with my cats where the son had made these little bitty hats that fit them exactly...and they weren't too amused by those hats and they especially weren't very happy when I took those pics. And no I don't have any of those pics right this minute - this was back when I had one of those cameras that spit out the picture. If I think about it, I'll brave the downstairs and look for those pics. How I'd get them here on this computer other than take a picture of a picture is beyond me...but I would like to see those pictures. lol

 

A laser pointer can keep a cat busy for a half hour, I'm not suggesting those cat apps, biscuits and stuff don't provide a certain type of engaging stimuli for the cat. I just don't think they understand the pixelated patterns are supposed to represent animals "out there" in nature.

After a month of truck series crashes I finished 3rd today behind 2 pro driving guys, so to us non getting paid, non real life driving drivers, chalk that up as a win for the underdogs.

i transplanted some irises and hyacinths yesterday, i think the other things i transplanted the other day were muscari, they are not that happy to have been moved, but they should come back next spring regardless. one does have little blooms on it.
today i need to try to make room in the garage for an antique curio cabinet, a table and chairs, a tall freezer.
my garage is packed full of stuff and boxes, and its not even all my crap. guess how much help i have?
and it being a nice weather week, i would rather be in the garden. this is the perfect time to get the weeds while they are small, and to label the things i recognize as they come up. but no.
and my brother is attempting to incentivize the preteen to be **actually** helpful by offering to buy him a nintendo switch if he can help me to my needs. hes already knee deep in fuckups since saturday.
im just so tired of having to do everything myself.
