That's kind of the reason I'm a little wary of hippies. I know not all of them are like this, but it seems like some are so sex-obsessed... Like they consider anyone fodder for whatever perversions they have.

 

for me the answer is ''copious amounts of money''....last year was over 3 tanks of furnace oil @2100 dollars total...….electricity for any space heaters and a shitload of wood...free to me but about 1000 dollars worth

I read the trilogy back when I was in high school, I wonder if I'd like it now. Considering rereading. You're only a few years younger than me, I think. You said you enjoyed it? From what I can remember, it isn't very juvenile...?
Feels like it could be a good wintery read.
And a lil fantasy would be nice

 

Yeah, I enjoyed it. A little juvenile I guess, just because the characters are young, but definitely a good read.

Give the Wheel of Time series a try too, if you haven't before!

 

Quick google search tells me it definitely sounds interesting! Partly inspired by Tolstoy's War and Peace, plus a lot of mythology.

More thorough search tells me not available in any of the libraries in this city.
However, a few of the books in the series (not the first one though lol) available in an antiquariat here.

Yes, and i would at first instance think as well it could be called exactly antiquariat in english as well, just because its such a wellknown word to me. But it could also be deutsch or even french (or used in both) and that the english have a different word for it
