I grabbed some stuff at the dispensary called Guava. Wish I got more, because it is killer and was super cheap, but they closed down for good tonight.

The porch is basically done. Those precious plywood pieces need another coat of paint...and then I'll (probably) post some pictures. I can say with definite assurance there will be NO raccoons coming on that porch!

It looks SO MUCH BETTER...and its safe for these crazy cats that decided making holes in the screen was the thing to do, after decades and decades of nothing like this happening...and I'm certain it will help keep it warmer in the winter.

and to think after ALL these years...this house was build in 1951...there has been NOTHING done to the house since except for a roof or 2, and a some (not a lot of) painting. OH yeah - and replacing some carpet. I have come to the conclusion that here (with animals) that carpet is the devil...and if EVER I'm able to do this...I'm pulling this damn carpet up. There is nice hardwood flooring under everything...yet another reason I despise the carpeting we have. gad

me thinks I was over full with liquid. i ate a bunch of ice cream and waffles for breakfat. before that drank my water andhad my tea on the way too
after tossing all the liquid, I had to pee twice but i feel better now
