Other than my immediate family and one aunt/uncle, the rest of my family is out in Nova Scotia. That, and Halifax is awesome.

Halifax is one of the two times that I have ever been on an airplane I flew out there when my daughter was moving back to Toronto so I could drive your truck home but I drove out there for her wedding and stayed a few days she lived up the hill in Halifax Mountain Road or something I particularly enjoyed the harbor area if you happen to see the guy selling the monkey paws I lost mine in the fire I think he sells them for five bucks:) :)
I hope everything goes okay with your grandma sorry to hear that she's not doing well bud

Finally got a callback from the propane company... It's nice to know they hire the handicapped.

Unfortunately they are mentally handicapped. (I know, that's mean to actual mentally handicapped people)

Anyways... I doubt I've ever talked with someone so dense in my life.

I could buy them legally in the Netherlands when I was interested in them. That was really cool. But they've become illegal after some lethal accidents, mostly irresponsible tourists.

hey Fae, check this out! i might get one of these and modify it, add a back and some padding on the outside to pin into and meet my measurements (i havent seen a size 10 in years) cover it and call it good. for that price its hard to beat, and cheaper than a plane ticket! (but if you are ever in the neighborhood, it would be much fun to have a craft party)

The prices of vacuum tubes is outrageous... This is what happens when niche markets have niches.

My youngest has a 50% chance of being colourblind so I never know if I'm just being a dick when I'm trying to teach him colours.

Egg my middle one is colour blind.. we got him colour pencils with the colour printed on the side.
Good thing to remember is they see them better if they are not together.. you know the plastic insert you get hot dog sausages in to stop them sticking? Works a treat!
But your learning them to read too.. just a couple of tips ;)

Protanopia I think it's called.. so long ago.. his paintings in school were all shades of black and brown.. looked bad on the kitchen gallery wall.. lol

    Quote...

In someone with severe red colour blindness (protanopia), all red colours look very dull. A few people have trouble distinguishing blue. This condition, called tritanopia, is either inherited or is caused by a reaction to drugs or poisons that damage the retina or optic nerve.

His was inherited.. my dad had same one.. did you know, it's unlikely a female is colour blind...
    Very very rare..
