I LIKE having mistakes I make pointed out. Although if I find myself wanting to say "affect" or "effect" I now think of a totally different way to say what I'm saying : P
Dunno why but that one really throws me, even though I get the rule..

I do notice spelling mistakes and stuff quite easily, in newspapers and stuff too, I'd probably be an alright proofreader. But that doesn't mean I think I don't make plenty of mistakes... but yeah, any of you can point them out if you see them. If you specifically want me to point out any errors I see, let me know and I will : )
Otherwise I don't, because I know it seems like then you're saying you're better at it all, and I am definitely not.

I have corrected irminsul in the past.....words like ''where'' ''wear'' ''ware'' can be tricky but for the most part her english is pretty darned good for a lesbian lol ….see what I did there..y'all thought I was gonna say ''german'' but I tricked ya's

 

I've seen that show.
Both supersize and superskinny eat awful and unhealthy.
The skinny ones look all pale and sickly and anemic.
Often they'll have a lot of energy drinks and sweets and a lot of coffee, but no proper food.

I spent a month in Turkey this summer, and had a lot of tea. Seriously, everywhere you go, they serve you tea. It was hot outside, but hot tea somehow also felt good.
Luckily, they don't serve tea in those big mugs.
They serve it like this, so it doesn't look that intimidating.
The trip was exhausting at times, and we would all look forward to those lil tea breaks.

 

I would appreciate being corrected. I wouldn't get offended at all.
Better to know and learn.

 

I love glass tea cups like that. The best part is pouring milk into the glass (if you fancy milk with your tea) and watching it swirl around in the dark tea.

 

Turkish coffee is one of the strongest on earth....did you try it?....I remember a solid layer of mud at the bottom from the grounds....my Croatia brother I law drinks it black whereas I need lots of cream and sugar

Yeah, and I loved it.
It is thick and strong. But just sweet enough at the same time.
It is similar to how we make it, and I drink it the same way as your Croatian brother in law
Although Turkish coffee in Turkey was definitely better.

I really got tired of that turkish tea everywhere. At first I took one everytime we were on a boat crossing the Golden horn, just because everbody did, its dirt cheap and yeah you could use it for hydration but after 2 days i switched to water bottles. Even on those ferry boats you'll get it in those exact glasses! :-D

 

Made it down south safely. No snow down here. Looks weird.

 

Speaks to me on a personal level with my poor spelling and grammar. I'm sure everyone notices. My brain goes too fast and words come out wrong.

Speaking of cheese...for Christmas someone gave me a basket with those fancy sausages and a Sonoma Jack cheese wheel. I tried it yesterday but I had put it in the fridge. It's hard as a rock but tastes okay. Am I not supposed to fridge it? Lol

 

I like old cheddars. Balderson stuff is good.

100 k straight north of me is balderson...it is kind of attached to perth where I used to live before the house went away....dude...what a place to stop on the way for pancakes at wheelers ...the biker I was chauffer for had a French fry stand right beside it....I saw bricks of more than just cheese

they sell balderson at the island general store...trust me when I say it does not come close to the red or white fox cheese.....this stuff actually melts in your mouth.....
