i say jury-rigged.
i remember 16. it does seem far away now. i messed up my back when i was 16, slipped in the kitchen at work. so all the time since then ive had backpain.
as a matter of fact, i fucked up my back before i ever fucked. i have never had a back-pain-free fuck. how sad.
i joined up here in 2003 originally, 17 y/o. i think i was some version of stoner chick or stoner hippy chick or something.

 

I was married on April 1st (1983).

seriously I was. I was so happy though...I don't even think my feet were touching the ground. During that period of time, I think I floated around.

Of course I eventually landed, but that doesn't negate that for a time, I felt like the happiest person alive.

Oh well...reality always has a way of knocking you back to the earth with a solid thump. I've just learned how to land lightly.

 

I don't think time has sped up for me yet. Partly because I avoid routines that don't end. I actually love routine, but eventually they get replaced with new ones. Getting older forces more routine, if you're raising kids and doing a 9 - 5.. it's hard to avoid it. And then you go on autopilot more and time appears to be passing more quickly. But it isn't, you know that, you know it's perception. And you can, to varying degrees, take control of perception.

 

The left knee of my jeans always wears out before the right. I must have weird posture or something.

I officially weigh 50 lbs less than I did at my wedding. Apparently Wellbutrin is an appetite suppressant...

Married in 2011, and I dropped maybe 20 lbs in the year after when I started biking to work, and then like 15 lbs gradually over the next few years. 15 lbs in the past few months, with 10lbs or so of that in the past month after starting the medication lol.
