An, my thighs and inner thighs hurt. First time on the saddle for a bit on Saturday. Didn't feel much Sunday, today? Arghhh! I'm just stretching my legs in the bath now. I could try heat and cold treatment, but since our water is ice cold right now I'm not going to do that brrr.

When going through our Fathers things I found a box full of my old HO train stuff... He had gotten rid of quite a few things but added another engine. The box did not go to Goodwill.

I doubt I'll ever do anything with it though.

what i think i would like sounds crazy but mutual combat fight with a martial artist thats obviously going to kick my ass. but Id like a certain hit to my neck from specified stance, in my position id be forward on the defensive right arm up out leaning to defend kick from face,, but Id like the top his foot to come down on my neck with power .. Im almost positive that heavy blow with enough pressure, while my spine is contorted with the degree of the blow, it will assist in further alignment and decompression. this has to be almost perfect hit tho. or it will kill me.. haha no it wont. id just fall on the mat. sometimes I think what our bodies needs is a good old fashioned wresting with friends in the grass .. human being are social and we need each other in ways some of us havent had since high school...

    also this is true..

also Im joe rogan high as fuck right now.

might need to double check if its chlorine or chloramine, its my understanding that chloramine does not dissipate/ offgas the same way, its more stable, harder to get rid of.

hubby got most of his grandfather's trains... the LGB ones. it was what we could save out of the storage barn in one or two trips, one in a small car. the storage cabinet and a lot of the tracks and fittings and stuff we could not get back for. probably missed 50% of the stuff, but got a lot of the engines and cars. i told hubby the tracks and switches would be easier to buy later than the engines and cars. and if we are ever really desperate they will be worth the most money.

nice ..Ive just a train left from my flooded house in the china cab. (dead).
I shouldve snatched up the engine at work last year putting it away, I could easy of asked for it and they wouldve given to me ..
my layout once was two sheets plywood and hole in the middle that i made but hardly used. only one side by the steps to the basement had houses and stuff, about 4 feet was well decked out, and then it was just space for the train to ride off too. had a lot of cars. most washed out into the alley way. plastic and all.
I have the space here, and plywood is cheep, and a single start kit wouldnt be much.. i rather live my dreams with the group photos on fb..

YES. there is something about getting scrappy thats incredibly cathartic. if you dont let those energies out they fester until they cant be contained. a little consensual/ competitive wrestling, foot races, relays, etc would go a long way.
but what do we do as a society? we outsource those things to professional athletes, watch them every other year in the olympics, and we still dont feel better as a populace.

i suggest... Localympics. Locolympics. yeah, the second one. Locolympics.
local, a little crazy, and a competition.
incorporate some Tough Mudder stuff. build a tiny log cabin playhouse. catch one fish. get past the "town drunk". spin 3 yards of a fine even yarn. crochet 3 yards of fine even yarn into something nifty.
like a field day for adults. enter the events you feel you can compete best in. there are a lot of tasks that can be competitive. humans do better when we compete with each other, but more of us survive if we compete in a non-war, non-resources way.

I can make them, they're really delicate though. I made a batch a few months ago that worked out well I just wasn't a huge fan of them myself. I don't even know why I made them.
