I stupidly took dufferin right up past Yorkdale mall at 3pm on black yesterday.....I also drove down dundas right beside the eaton center...….like you said...tres shit traffique

 

Repairing the basement door frame before the furnace guys do their thing at the end of December... Bottom of the frame on the hinge side rotted away. Splicing in new wood, lag bolting it to the block wall, new hinges, refit door, etc. Have to do it while it's above freezing outside. Which is like... tomorrow.

Shytloads to do around here to get ready for that furnace deal...

I got a new hose system with the sales too. A 30m retractable hose. Not thay exciting but I'm really excited to use it, even though it's winter and there nothing to water. Hmm maybe I'll just I dunno.

I noticed this mark on my truck yesterday seems someone has rear ended me and pushed the back bumper on the left side of my truck right into the chassis. You can't notice it really but I'm pretty annoyed at it. Someone definitely either backed into me in a car park or hit me head on. I hope they damaged their car more. Now I'm thinking of rear armor. Every little ding I have on the thing now, there's armor for. I'm sure I can take off the back bumper and maybe install it correctly I'll have to look into it but if the pins and stuff are broke because it's been pushed back an inch then I'm not sure.

Its just disheartening, you can't have anything nice these days.

 

I miss that emoji...the thumbs up. I miss the beating the dead horse one and the group hug one too. There are others I miss...but those I miss the most.

 

I agree...I haven't had that happen (yet...and knock on wood I won't)...but there are a few little dings on my Crown that I know I didn't do, and that weren't there when I got it. It really makes me angry also because that car is in mint condition (on the outside) other than those wee dings. smh Its in very good condition on the inside, but I don't clean it out (wiping down and such as that) and vacuum it as much as I should. If I worked at it like my friend works on his, I'd say mine was mint all around.

I usually park really far away from doors and entrances...as far away as I can get sometimes, and especially when people seem extra crazy as they drive. Holidays are when people are the worse.

My friend doesn't fuss about the house here or even the fact that my room could stand some work .. for what its worth I do make my bed EVERY DAY!!! But...he is meticulous. It makes me feel bad on one hand and on the other hand, I'm thinking .... I don't give a shit if every single thing I have is in perfect order all the time. good grief. I'd rather read and waste time on the internet in general, and here specifically. lol

There was a time (years and years ago) that I would rather die than have a man I was seeing see my room in less than perfect order and condition. lol Yeah...that was years ago.

I mean there isn't feces in the floor, but yeah....I don't even try like I used to. Between Mama and the cats, I'm not just tired...I'm tired AND glad there isn't feces in the floor.

 

One last random thought...I can't believe I didn't say anything on the anniversary which was 8/18...but as of this year, 2018 (8/18/2018) I've been a member for 10 yrs! I joined 8/18/2008. (y)

So really, there is no doubt I'm sort of crazy.

Jimmie Johnson was on the grid and they talked to him. Hardly recognised him tbh. Did not have a good 2018 season so never saw much of his face. Did not really like him much when he started beating Jeff Gordon but I do not really mind him anymore. I think he's switching his nascar for a F1 car tomorrow like he gets in the F1 car and then Hamilton will get in the nascar.
. They do this occasionally but they should put the F1 driver in the nascar on an oval, not a road course. Nascar belongs on ovals, though I enjoy the 3 weeks of road racing throughout the mid year.
