It feels like this strike has been coming and going for the past decade, so while I would like back to work legislation I feel like it'll just come back to bite us in the ass with another postal strike in a year or two

they featured an idiot on my news who checked into rehab over his 200 dollars every 2 weeks cannabis habit....he wanted to warn everyone about hoe easy you can get addicted...I was fuming.....lucky my tv doest have a pellet shot where the guys head was..stupid fuck....and he was in rehab...they interviewed the owner of the rehab ad it looked he too wanted to punch the guy for taking space in a rehab lol

 

fun experience with this black woman today.. she had parked next to me in the lot going to the dispensary. She asked me if I worked there and I said in the Strip here no, just shopping, she meant working the parking lot.. No, just parking. She said dude charged her 5$ and I said mostly this lot is free during the week but the holidays and stuff. and she was ohhh.. Then walked beside me asked me where the meat store was, and I said I didnt know. She asked where I was going after we were under the yinzer steeler tarp .. as I said I didnt know where the meat store was, and she asked where I was going and I said well, Im going to a medical marijuana dispensary . she goes for realz, is that a thing you can just buy weed in the store and I said yes, but only for medical .. walked right past the meat store and I said oh here it is, right across the street from the dispensary..
Then she said "well boo, if I smoked some that good shit I wouldnt know where the meat store was either".. cheerfully parted. I liked her, if i was single Id ask her for number.

 

Yeaaaah I can't help but feel like at least a part of the workers are just people who hate their job and want more pay. My local post office seems to be staffed by a husband and wife duo who hate the mail system, and I can't understand why they still work the part if they hate it so much.

Apparently part of the problem is also rural vs. urban postal workers. From what I've read conditions for workers out in rural areas are much worse, so some of the complaining seems to be a bit more justified than the rest.

 

are you referring to a shoppers drug post office or an actual post office?...I love our mail ladies...they are extremely helpful and polite...if you are short a few cents they let you slide....the lady at the shoppers drug post office isnt as personable but I have never heard them complain

I can call the post office ad say ''hi its b can you hold my mail this morning''?
