We were out tonight at a steak place I got a steak with squiggly fries and veges and anyway there was this huge couple there and I did a bit of sticky beak and watch their order.

So a Hamburger meal and a chicken wrap meal come out for them. I thought fair enough good on them that's not the worst thing to order in their physical condition.

Think again.

I was soon mortified when two steak meals then came out to them, so they had a Hamburger and wrap meal for starters. This includes fries too. And I thought I don't care how big you are in no social situation EVER does anybody EVER need to eat two fucking meals.

And then! Mortified!

Desert. A big cup of ice cream. I was so angry at them. It's just no wonder some people are in the condition they are in and it just pisses me off.

 

It makes me feel so angry or something when "Christians" go on this proselytizing kick, especially on their relatives. I've seen it happen so many times. My brother is an atheist and I would never in a million years try to get him to change his way of thinking. I may want to share a REAL LIFE story that would make one go hmmmmm.....that may be spiritual...but that would be the most your brother should ever do, not if he truly wants anyone to convert. However I personally find these what I truly consider "over the top" Fundamentalists are so wrong in the "christianity" I see them practice while they judge and basically change God's laws to suit themselves...it behooves me to say those holier than thou asses that don't live and really know their stuff never ever want to tangle with me. lol

But back to your issue and question. I would probably reply that I was (and I truly am) so impressed by your son's grasp on a fundamental physic "rule" he read about and used that information on a "real life" issue is great! There are about a billion ways your brother should have handled his desire to push christianity on y'all than the tactic he used. smh

When he sent one of his preachy scripture filled texts, I would just respond something foolish (IF I DID RESPOND) something like "having a great day...you??? "

The other day I was watching a science documentary and a scientist claimed that inside the sun you could fit about a million earth's into it that's how big it is... I thought... Who cares? Some things just bigger than others.

 

Scientific thinking kids are not a bad thing. Many Christians ignore it but many scientist admit that a "god" being is not impossible it's just not proven.

I understand @Irminsul perfectly describing those people. They are the ones that will order about 10 drinks and then want to dispute half of it...or sometimes they are perfectly fine customers. They loved telling me how to cook things I cook multiple times a day. I worked in all types of restaurants from fancyschmancy to privately owned diner/ meat and three.

I had this morbidly obese couple come and order that kind of stuff the last place I worked. I wanted not to judge them for that but DAYUM if I couldn't help but feel some kinda way. Like that is the meaning and epitome of gluttony...and they want to preach at someone.

 

I've been going to bed super early, and able to feel rested, etc when I start the next day. I guess sometimes I just don't care, and have to "socialize" with other adult humans (here), I don't think there are any "bots" here in this chat thread. lol

But keep the house clean ALL THE TIME and having to deal with people - a veritable barrage of people! - coming in and out everyday, with sometimes more than one in a day is just so draining! Gad all I can think about is how I need to be washing a load of clothes and hanging them out. But these damn, I mean wonderful, people are coming every day or close to it. It may not be draining to some people, but damn if it doesn't take my last ounce of effort to keep the shit of everything together, every fucking day.

good grief! But I'm doing it. lol I playing hooky tonight.

 

The unfortunate thing is the doom mainly has consequences in the afterlife. It's unfortunate because we can't disprove anything about the afterlife (not because I believe eternal doom awaits me. I would probably change my ways if I believed such a thing)
