I have 10 years of ellipses under my belt I didn't even know that there was a name for it until someone told me on this website I always thought it was just... dot dot dot

 

It is -7 where we are now but it's all good because there's a shed on this property with a fire oven inside so we just bunker down there.

I did go for a ice swim in the morning cause I was hungover, instantly cured lol. But our swags are good and it's quite hot in there with our good sleeping bags I even had to open an air vent near my head cause I was too hot and I never done that before.

Dog has been absolutely fantastic he was excited at first arrival but we have actually had him off lead the whole time he knows his boundaries even at night we have just had him walking around doing his own thing night one he found us early in the morning and just slept on top of our swags. He's been great.

I'm kinda all awake and alert atm waiting for sun to show so I can pack up and head home. I want a shower badly.

I went camping once and it was 60f when we left. By the time we drove to the mountains it was snowing and ended up dropping to like 12f that night. We brought layers but no real winter gear so we all layered up and hoped for the best. I'm surprise no one froze to death lol. One guy got so drunk he woke up and peed in the tent, on my other friend's sleeping bag, so she didnt even have a sleeping bag the rest of the night. And the drunk guy burned his socks trying to warm his feet by the fire so he had to hike around the next day in the snow with no socks. And everyone was being mean to him about peeing in the tent. Poor guy

That was the best camping trip of my life so fun and unexpected

Good times, I'm feeling super nostalgic now for the stupid, ill prepared camping trips we used to take lol

 

None of the other girls came this camp. Our other female player Shelley didn't come and none of the guys partners came either but just like I thought our setup has saved the day cause if we weren't here there'd be no cooking utensils or plates or anything, we have the biggest eski for drinks, there'd have been no music or entertainment either.

I might do another ice swim before I go the river is only 30 second drive away. Everyone thought I was nuts but I got Johnboy to come with I kept telling him it will be good trust me, the icy water will be invigorating on your skin you will feel refreshed and cure your hangover and I said also when you dunk your whole body in drink the cold water cause it's as fresh as you're going to get really.

I guess a lot of people wouldn't do that but it's just frozen ice run off that comes from the Alps so it's really cold and clear and I will capture it in bottles and drink without a thought.

So yes Johnboy and I went skinny dipping for about 2mins before all my muscles got tight and heavy from the cold and we thought we should get out before we sink lol. We were both fresh as ever, 930am back to camp with the hangover crew feeling sorry for themselves and then JB and I cooked up a big breakfast the hangover crew ate that and felt worse but JB and I were feeling awesome and kicked on from there but because Friday was such a late night in the end, today/tonight started earlier but everyone asleep now I think we'll all pretty much gonna leave when we wake up. We'll in going to go through all the food still and dry up a big breakfast for everybody.

I had that experience once while in Idaho. My dad came out to visit from Kentucky in June and the week before he came out he called to complain how hot it was there. He said he had just gotten off work and was standing over one of the air conditioning vents with the air hitting his balls. So I took him to the Sawtooth Mountains. We got snowed on the first night we were there and dad had nothing but short sleeve shirts. He didn't complain though, we had Jim Beam.
