if you're unhappy about it doesnt seem to be a rational decision to me...whatever though....

anyway, when i used to like uppers, i would actually take them partially for the appetite suppressing qualitys. my parents paid for the pills cause they were medicine for me and i was in highschool, i'd take them and not need breakfast or lunch, but they'd still give me lunch money....okay, twenty dollars a week is nearly a free eighth a week, and back then that meant about a week's worth of smoking. i rarely had to pay for my own pot.....but then i find the same drugs will make it harder to feel the effects of pot for me, and what effects i did get would be much more short lived than if i wasn't on speed of any sort. often i would end up smoking more and more to get the same effect, and that as much as anything led to the development of a decent marijuana tolerance.

i didnt find it any easier to eat on stimulants after smoking than if i didnt smoke, though. in fact, that was one of the perks of uppers - they override pot for me, and they keep me from being hungry, so i dont get the munchies.

i found i could keep more of the pot high longer though if i first smoked a couple bowls and THEN a few minutes later snorted a small amount of methylphenidate or amphetamines, rather than eating the pill and once i felt the effects smoking pot while on it.

of course i think i dropped down to like 120 pounds for a little while.

id be pretty fucked if i stayed up all tonight.. ive got nothing to do.. and parents will get shitty if i make noise lol.

you win some, you lose some. i just wish i could measure how my neurotransmitters are going lol...

ah well, the new day has arrived and im still not tired... i dont quite understand how that happens, i mean logic would say what goes up must come down.. but nothing seems to be normal about this queer methylphenidate

the only thing i dont like too much about mixing caffiene with weed is that it makes my cardiovascular feel uncomfortable.

my heart beat is fucked from drinkning lots of coffee and taking no-doz, ive not felt a regular beat consistently for over like 10 beats since i bought my first pill bottle of nodoz lol. my resting beat can be between 80 and 110. it seems that nowadays it doesnt change that much with stimulants though, its always high and irregular. smoking weed can feel good for my heart, or really uncomfortable but i dunno, many heart palpitation incidents have brought me much more in touch with my body

in my psych 101 class last year we discussed sleep patterns briefly. basically your internal clock is quite real, and you get sleepy more or less from the release of certain neurotransmitters more than anything else. they are on a changable but still more or less regular schedule, so you should get tired at roughly the same time each night. if you take stimulants to combat the sleepiness, then you should be fine once your internal clock comes back around to the time you are generally waking up at, and so long as you aren't exhausted from staying up for several days in a row, you should be able to go a night without sleep and then be more or less fairly alert and energetic the next day, and get around to going to sleep at roughly the same time. of course, your body is still lacking sleep and if you go to sleep you'll sleep well, but you SHOULD GENERALLY be able to stay up until the cycle starts over again.

yeh, well i find i get tired at around 3 or 4, then wake, then more tired about midday, and then wake, and eventually fucked up the next night. but ive only stayed up normally or with caffiene before. last night it was smooth sailin and now it just feels like another dayexcept that i recognise the effects of not sleeping on my reflexes in perception.

though my comment on it feelin wierd was mainly aimed at the fact that i thought a comedown from a little binge on ritalin would at least make me wanna go to bed, even if i couldnt sleep

ah well, time to do it all over again!

my patterns are annoying, i'll be tired around 11, but i like being out and up and doing shit, so i won't go to sleep, then i won't be tired til really late again so i pay for it the next day...always a bummer

I like the high of uppers best, especially xtc and amphetamines. I voted for opiates because amphetamines kill my soul and xtc is bad after youre high. When i eat amphetamines, my emotions are plateaud and fake. I have no empathy for other people and it keeps me up for days. I always swear not to take em, but always do, even though i hate em. XTC is great, but i dont like comin' down and it makes me feel retarted.

Opiates are ok, i only like strong ones though. Vicodin and that kinda thing sucks. OCs and percs are awesome. Coming down isnt bad. I tried heroin once, and it was amazing. I felt nausious, but there were no other negative side affects. Im not going to do it often because of addiction.

"Opiates" weren't even an option on the poll.

Downers, entirely because of G. If G didn't exist, then give me amphetamines any day... but not in large doses... amphetamines to me, are the way to get great motivation and energy to do what I need to do.

G however... is the best drunk you ever had with a great aphrodesiac effect, no hangover, and the best nap you'll ever have if you OD all mixed into one...

Opiates have stimulant and depressant effects, so he needs to educate himself.

    nah man it's a downer!

i dunno about you, but ive never experienced any stimulant effect from any opiates ive had. and its general effect, even if it did have a slight stimulant effect in some, is primarily a depressant effect.

what experiences have you had otherwise?

Well, all of my experiences with opiates have always mafe me very giddy and talkative, and I ALWAYS feel like walking around while I'm ope'd up. I also feel very relaxed and xalm. Like I said, opiates have both stimulative and depressant effects, whether you've noticed them or not.
