    That's rediculous.

Minors will buy alcohol even if all liquor destributors in the world were to I.D. they would just have thier older friends do it.

Are you saying that people are "idiotic enough" just because of thier age?

I'm 23 (almost 24), but I still get carded for everything. I went to a casino last weekend and I got carded when I got in (they card anyone that looks like they are under 30), then when I got INTO the casino I had three security guards ask me if they checked my ID to get in. I said yes and all three asked to see my driver's license again.

I look like I'm pretty young...it's a hassle, but I'm pretty happy in general that I still look young.

When I was 19 I probably looked it, but I never got carded at the liquor store. There's no need for elaborate measures that probably look insanely suspicious. It's just a matter of a little confidence. If you don't act like a kid who knows he's not supposed to be doing that, you won't be seen as such. :)

This would certainly be the time to ignore the idiot on the cell phone until he hangs up. Hint, hint to all of the retail employees out there...

This silly game certainly wouldn't work if I were at the counter. Find an older friend, friend's older sibling, etc. to buy for you.

Only a fucking idiot would not card you, even when it would require interrupting a real argument. Do you have any clue of the legal repercussions of not carding?

I mean, seriously, stop being little douchbags -- at least get a fake id that is good enough that the clerk can legally swear to not knowing it's a fake (and how good it has to be depends on how much training employees receive in spotting fakes).
