Hey, My name is Mike but I still go by the name 'Arx' I picked up a long, long, long time ago. A funny thing happened... I was digging through an old box and I found an underground comic from 1972... my old red bandanna and an 8-track of the Moody Blues. From there, I have been digging out old music, photos and trying to find some old friends from Savannah, Georgia who might recall those days when a corner of Daffin Park was our version of a then-famous hippie park out on the west coast. We had an old Krystal drive-in and we owned it... except that the cops (we called them different then) would stick their heads through a little hole in the wall to make sure we were... um, actually doing the bathroom thing!!! Oh well... just lots of memories washing over my old self. Peace, love... and pass the joint
It was Psychotic Adventures Illustrated #1 (1972) Link to cover image: http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w35/IITravel/PsychoticAdventures1.jpg One story is genuinely psychotic... then the one about giant Dragon Flies taking over after we covered the planet in waste... The one I liked was about hippies out in the wild. They find a cave and then... well... that was always my fave...
Yeah... younguns do that some times and I love kids so, when they do... I give them a wink and tell them to behave. Usually, they get awed and Mom and/or Dad just grin, lol.
