    Grant me the serenity
    to accept the things I cannot change;
    courage to change the things I can;
    and wisdom to know the difference

    Step 6
    Were entirely ready to have your deity remove all these defects of character.

    Step 6 begins an inner purification if you will , Its this inner cleansing that allows the addict to feel renewed and thus begin anew.
    It starts the addict on a path to spiritual and inner maturity, allowing him or her to feel distanced from what was once the terror and despair of addiction and draw close to the joy of inner and outer peace. This is a process whereby by accepting one’s defects and by “removing” it also for the real you, the you that’s has been trapped inside to come out , to show the world that the person you were is no more .
