steal something---go stand in front of a mirror for 3 full minutes looking into your eyes--and say to yourself over and over--"I am a good person"--"I am a good person".
You're wrong. We're not tslking about a pack of gum here. Theft IS NOT a victimless crimes, even if you want to believe it is. Theft/shoplifting costs businesses in the U.S. millions and millions of $$/year, and it costs us all in the form of higher prices, to make up for the loss from little shits who have never learned stealing is wrong.
ive stolen baseball cards from walmart when i was a little kid. it wasnt really that we wanted baseball cards... me and my friends just thought it was funny. i look back now and realize how stupid it was but i mean... walmart is a HUGE corporation, i mean, theyre evil... i dont feel bad for stealing.. i just regret doing it because the penalties would have much outweighed the crime, we got lucky.
haha it's funny how all of you justify stealing, as it's from a blackhearted mulitinational corporation in the end, it's still stealing, and stealing from somone, even it is the billionarie owner.
What do all of you anti-theft nazis make of the surplus of goods that come from stores and are dumped into wastelands each year? Do you count that into your fantasy of raised prices based on stealing? Or do you just not even count that? You do know that walmart and other companies throw away so many goods a year, write it off on taxes, and let people starve? Stealing from them is just dumpster diving in a better location.
THAT'S how you justify theft? Using that same logic, since you've undoubtably thrown stuff away it's alright for people to steal from you, right? Right?
Anti-theft nazi?maybe anti-rape nazi.anti murder nazi.Anti child molestation nazi? Some people will go to any lengths to justify their actions.
for one, we are talking about a pack of gum here! you are correct that shop lifting costs corporations millions a year, but with increased sales every year, that is just a statistic, because successful corporations are making more every year. and thinking that theft drives up the price of products is just a common misconception. the price of goods are determined by supply and demand, and by competition. where have you ever seen a product in a store that was much more money that the same product in the store down the street?
I'm a fookin kleptomaniac. I can't help it. If I know that I can get something for free from the store, then I figure "why pay, when I can get it for free?" I used to steal at least $50 worth of gas every week from various gas stations, including the one I now work for. haha I even stole a payphone one time.......along with the 12' steel pole it was attached to. lol I know.....I'm a dumbass and that is some stupid shit to do, but I did it.
Stealing from corporations effects everyone. Say that you stold $20.00 from Walmart, yea they have to buy that stuff they sell. No you didn't effect anyone. Now say 125,000 people stold $20.00, thats 2,500,000 enough for them to maybe open one more store. Now 400 jobs are not available to an area. Not only that but most charity money comes from corporations. If walmart would have gave a quarter of that money to charity because they are beyond profit expectations then how many "real" people did you screw. If you are a part of the problem you are the problem. Even if the guys who orginally bought it just make their profit and spend it back into the economy we are all benefiting from the jobs created. A society has to think beyond the individual.
Ya i agree with willy, ive never seen a huge price differance in stores that were pretty close to eachother.
Thought this fit the thread.... The irony of it is, I think I got this picture from another thread of people talking about stealing from walmart about 5 months ago, haha.
in searching for games and components for my Wii, as well as laptop and computer parts i've had 10-35$ differences in buying my computer components i've seen 200$ differences on ONE component there is a thing called "MSRP" the S stands for "suggested" retailers can sell it for Less then they buy it for if they want, but why would they? and of course your not going to find a price difference in walmart products, because no one else SELLS the brands walmart does because they are chain specific
I would think they would be close prices because both of them would higher the regular the price as much as possible.
but if you sold a product for 5$ cheaper, dont u think the buisness drawn in by savings would overright the loss that the price difference makes?
