If you want to escape the Nepotistic, Theolothic Rule, Racism, Sexism , Homophobia or backwardness of the South or Midwest .
Stay away from Central California, from Bakersfield to Stockton .... it's California's backwater jerk towns, that is filled with Jerry Springer guest types .
It's a combination of the Truman Show, Breaking Bad, the Jerry Springer Show and Deliverence .

There maybe some decent people, but when you get there, you'll see they don't have enough good people .

Due to Theocratic, Bigotry and socioeconomic / political oppression created by the Grifter / Big Ag , California Corrections and Dept.of Social Services Union .... people are angry, jealous of one another and treacherous.

Yeah, people like that are everywhere, but Central California is pretty much full of nothing but .

Steer clear of the San JoaHater Valley .
Go to San Diego, LA, SF or on the coastal areas , instead .

The San JoaHater Valley ( Central California) created byproducts ; Devin Nunes and Kevin McCarthy.... totally reflect the Dark Spirit of this region of California.

Central Oregon is much the same. In fact they want to leave Oregon and join Idaho because they don't like living in a blue state! People in rural areas tend to be conservative and back the GOP, even though the Democrats represent them better economically. They resent legal abortion, think it's murder, and legalized marijuana, think it will destroy society. God's word, as they interpret it, rules above all.

I lived in Medford, Oregon, I liked it, it was more liberal than Central California.
The Band I was in , used to rehearse behind the Holly Theater back in 1992.
I was going to get hired at Muscian's Friend, when it was on Chevy Way .

People were very open and it was rare to run into a Republican back then .
Then again, that's when people were realizing that the Ronald Reagan/ G H.W Bush 1 years, was a total scam and total failure .

If I would have stayed, I would have eventually moved to near by Ashland, which has my type of people .

The state of Jackson will never be.
I knew an old timer, back in 1992, that told me that it once gathered enough steam, but the Dec.7th,1941 attack at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, killed the movement.

Due to a European Report, many Red States are now considered 3rd World regions .
The crime rates percapita ,in Red States, far out pace Blue States.

Red States, life expectancies have nosed dived, standards of living have plummeted, access to Medical attention fading, employment fading , upward mobility ....gone .

Thank God, the Guardians of Plutocracy have committed suicide by Trump ....couldn't happen to a better bunch of inferior / paralyzed from the neck up / sad pieces of subhumans .

If you are to move here from the more rational part of the State, Los Angeles Basin, the Bay Area or San Diego Metropolitan area.

Better have an on line job, a nest egg and be self contained.
Because the quality of the Majority of people, like the Standard of Living .... it is pretty low .
Beware of the Self Proclaimed Christians, over friendly people, they tend to get into your life , basically, to have something to gossip about to their friends and they will make up stuff and embellish any differences in your mode of living .

The economy is shot to Hell, it mostly small business or big Ag ( the Grifter KKKulture) , Nepotism, Racism and institutionalized / Industrialized Poverty that rules here.

I worked as Clerk for the Department of Social Services in Fresno and Poverty is Fresno's Biggest Industry .
Fresno's biggest Import, people being fed to the California Corrections System.

The Political Power Brokers are the Grifter Republican Big Ago- Totalitarians, S.E.I.U. Union , Realtors Associations, California Correction and " Old Fresno Money ".
I've been to meetings, where they put forth strategy to chase away ; Boeing, McDonald - Douglas, a Walmart Distributing Center, IBM and other jobs .
And the majority are examples of living purely hand to mouth.

The Goal of the California High Speed Rail, is to move in more Rational, Functional Citizens and to allow the economicly oppressed Majority in Fresno and Bakersfield, an economic uplift from oppressive Republican Economic polices .

How dies it feel watching the MAGA / GOP going extinct ?

Now , you feel like my ancestors 11,000 years ago, watching the Mammoth going extinct .... at least we were smart enough to switch to Buffalo in America.
The GOP will fade away, they are too old, and no one will carry their traditions of Racism and economic failure .

The geography in Washington is much the same. Olympia is pretty progressive but just a few miles down the road is Lewis County with its infamous I 5 Fascist sign…..even further is Vancouver, a city that shot the gift horse in the head. Didn’t want Federal help to replace the aging I 5 bridge to Portland because part of the package included a light rail extension. I guess they want ferries or row boats. I think the basic issue is that many rural areas can’t accept the preposterous idea of one person…one vote.

And that seems to breed racism, hate, and, antisocial behaviors. Somehow that thing at the birth of our nation gave rise to equality of power in the Senate for California and Wyoming…ludicrous for the upper chamber. That kind of anti-democratic thinking has been exploited by the R s to gerrymander and obtain super majorities at the state level and in the tilt the US House. What an albatross.

On the equator its harder to deny the reality, when you see skyscrapers surrounded by tin shacks, but the simple fact is, the money has been moving in on rednecks everywhere on the planet since cities were first built, then paying the rednecks to destroy their own government. Donald Duck's act is possibly 10,000 years old.

I was conceived in Fresno but by the time 9 months went by my family had fled back to land of the cheeseheads. And then my father did nothing but hone his racism, and bigotry for the rest of his life. Nothing in Oshkosh supported a turn towards humility, tolerance and inclusion. The older I get, the more ugly it seems in retrospect. I was lucky, I worked for a natural resource agency in the Midwest, Missouri, Montana, and Washington State got out of Dodge.

And for last 34 years I have been educated by my friends in AA. I have been lucky enough to have Siletz, Squaxin, Quinault, mentors as well has people from all the groups my father and his bigoted elitist friends looked down on. T****s rhetoric and hate is bankrupt of even a shred of humanity.

I get what you're saying, but you're also saying, "if you come to CA, live in the expensive af cities."

That's not going to be reality for everyone. I don't think the average American can afford life in one of California's coastal cities--how those cities have actual residents is beyond me.

The California High Speed Rail is going to economicly liberate Central Californians from the oppressive Conservative Economic lock down and isolation in the Central Valley.

One could live in one of the more affordable cities or towns connected to the High Speed Rail and commute to LA, SF or SD for work and bring home a living wage that Conservatives fight against.
