But I'm wondering: Didn't we for instance found out by analyzing reality that we see the world through the light that falls in the back of our eyes of which our brain comprises an image? How is that an illusion?

 

Well,I suppose some genius scientific type COULD argue that light as we know/understand it,is a reaction caused by various things,ie,refraction,magnetism,heat,angle,photon speeds,etc etc....

But don't quote me-I'm thicker than cold mayonaisse

 

Those things only make it sound less of an illusion to me We have concluded what light is exactly by researching it, right?

 

I choose not to see the world through the eyes of science. Science is all based on logic and tangable evidence that we can touch, see, hear and feel. And as I said before we all agree that because we can see, hear and feel things that they exist. We even created a subject which uses logic and math, something else we created, to not only explain what we see, hear and feel but to further impower its reality and existence. But that doesnt make something real, just because you can see it hear it feel it and analyze it. That only means you are choosing to apply action to something you percieve and dont fully understand in an effort TO understand it. The mind has the power to make anything real for you so long as you apply meaning to it thus empowering it and MAKING it real for you and anyone who shares your perception.

   Why should people stop blaming the Education system, when it's an utter failure? Government makes all these promises of how "Great" everything will be when they take over, but when they fail, some people totally refuse to let people "blame" the Government for that failure.

These, I agree with. Other than the use of ANY force. People should start buying solar panels, and maybe Solar Panels should be tax exempt, but the reason we can't switch to Green Energy, is because the oil industry would rather rape the worlds natural resources, before they're gone for good.

But, you can't stop all the wars, as long as you believe in government being everyone's mom. Obama has been just as big as a failure as Bush.

I think people who target people, on the Right, only do that because they can't logically defend why they believe in vast, unfettered government power, but then, pretend they don't when they're called out on it.

To me, the Political Left, is just as bad, if not worse; Because, they wish to take away our Rights to self defense, and many people still support Obama despite his obvious power-grab.

well i suppose the most obvious one is that i find humans boring. i don't wish anyone any kind of unhappiness, its not about anything like that, its just that i find so many things that have nothing to do with social interaction so much more fascinating and gratifying then anything to do with human people.

the same goes for mind altering substances, whether lawful or otherwise. they simply don't gratify what gratifies me.

i distrust most hierarchies and find them superfilous. but i do believe the self dicipline to be universally mutually considerate indispensible instead.

i don't credit nor blame unseen forces for what humans statistically and collectively do to themselves and each other.

i believe nonphysical things do exist, but at the same time owe nothing to popular beliefs. or even unpopular ones.

there is no such thing as a fact. that is not how science or reality works.
there are greater and lesser probabilities. some extremely so.
but not the kind of cast in concrete the way some people seem to mistake things for working and being.

there is no such thing as normality.
there is such a thing as sanity, with is about not getting tripped up and screwed up by our emotions, but there is no one size fits all concept such as normality.

we live in a more wonderfully strange universe then we realize, and need more to recognize that reality and allow ourselves to enjoy it.

there is no other nature of reality then for it to be wonderously diverse.
of course it is indifferently diverse, and so there is suffering as well as exultation,
but nothing and no one is every going to change diversity being realities nature,
and while this is sometimes painful, it is also a very good thing,
because those who would change this, often are very harmful and cause much more suffering then reality would without them, and because even they cannot change it, it passes them by as well, their hour to strut comes and goes.

the bones of the dead are the bones of the dead, whoever or whatever they may have been in life. gremlins spare no one.

the same diversity which does noting to prevent the rise of anything, does equally nothing to prevent its fall.

clean energy can power everything and cleanly powered public transportation is better for then environment the personal transportation, even if that were to be completely cleanly powered.

people should live in the smallest houses capable of sheltering everything they enjoy and find gratifying in life. there should not be building codes that prevent innovative means of construction from being used and played with.

money is not fundimental to technological civilization.

technology can and ought to be, engineered into closer harmony with wild nature. always.

a government which seeks neither to provide infrastructure nor public welfare, has no excuse to exist.

governments are there to serve people. people are not there to serve governments.

wealth is not a sin, but it is all that much more responsibility to be considerate of everyone.

creativity is the only thing that makes us 'human' (i.e. sapient).

the human species is not superior in any way. it is only dominant on earth do to artifacts. artifacts only exist because of creativity.

all land, that isn't right next to where someone's house is sitting on it, rightfully belongs to everyone and every kind of plant and creature living on it.

I think he was being 100% honest, because Liberals typically believe this way. It's funny to me, yeah- I'm not arguing. I just wanted to express my disapproval of his violent methods and his hatred for ANYONE who isn't Democrat/Liberal and leans Right.

It doesn't exist. If the taxpayer is paying for it, it isn't free. "Free healthcare," is a ploy, and sham. Nothing good has come from government healthcare 40 years later.

"Free" sounds great, but whos gonna pay it? Doctors aren't going to work for free, and they shouldn't either.

Actually, we're not. After 40 plus years of Medicade, prices have gone up, qaulity of care has gone down and, there's less people on insurance today.

The free market, would've worked much better than government.

 

money had to be invented. people lived gratifying lives for a very long time before it was. not saying free lunch, but money and not a free lunch, are not a one to one relationship. nor is not a free lunch a moral excuse for needless robbery.

doctors should get a free pension as long as everyone is healthy, and noting when people get ill.

Yeah but it can survive if a person or family gives it food or shelter. at 9 or 11 weeks a baby doesn't even have organs or eyeballs or anything, it's not capable of surviving unless the mother let's it.

 

My inquiries when I moved to this little town got me in more trouble than anything else in the past 5 years.

I asked "what are you doing to improve the local economy?", "what are you doing to bring business here?" and "what are you doing to make the town a better place for the citizens?".

End result the city council labeled me a terrorist.

Well, locally the economy is so bad here....

...the town hooker has been pushing her business for five years now, and she's still a virgin;

...that even the massage parlor is now self-service;

...the economy here is so bad, the self service massage parlor is run off of the honor system- "yes your honor", "no your honor" & "nice tie your honor";

...and that when you ask the town hooker for a hand job and she'll give you a manicure instead.

Now exactly how bad does the city want the economy to get? God knows they are chasing off businesses.

well being that you are under my wifes bed i have to assume the hooker you are talking about is her sister mary lauren. she always was a bit of a prude. dont know how she got into the business...if you can call it that being she has no business. but anyway if you need a place with more potential growth maybe you should move a couple feet outside into the back yard. lots of growth there with all the plants. and lots of sex with all the rabbits.

Well, your government evidently is better at planning their funding. Our Government is a Corporate Pyramid Scheme, which uses our Military as a strong-arm, to force compliance.

Yours isn't too different, but I'm sure they do more for the people. To me though, that doesn't make a good government. They're only giving us a fraction of our money back.
