I've theorised for a while that eventually humans will end up "inside the matrix", in some sense. People always tell me it's unlikely.. But seriously, all we'd need is a few outside factors, like a virus or a war, coupled with an increasingly realistic virtual world, and plenty will be quite happy to live predominantly inside it.
My ratings of continentality of the climates (based on the difference between coldest and hottest month mean temps): Below 16°C: Poor Oceanic Climate Between 16°C and 20°C: Average Oceanic Climate Between 20°C and 23°C: Between Oceanic and Continental Climate Between 23°C and 27°C: Average Continental Climate Between 27°C and 33°C: Good Continental Climate Above 33°C: Extreme Continental Climate
Since humans have made their way to the very top of the food chain, the planet Earth and environment is ours to exploit
if you want to say invisible people can be naugty, that can happen. if you try to say all invisible people who don't belong to one particular narrow hierarchy are naughty, you're making it up.
Even if that's true.. If we exploit it to death and then die ourselves.. Then making it to the top of the food chain doesn't really count for shit.
that's the romantic version. the reality version is that the availability of prey controls the population of predators.
We're not at the top of the food chain anyways. The smallest organisms can wipe us out. It's a circle, not a chain
