hmmm, No. some girls are a burden to the oxygen budget. Obviously not anybody on here that I’m aware of, but believe me, yaint all rosy!
as kids we were taught this game by a family friend known as windy wallets...... For obvious reasons. and as kids we thought it was funny, and being a regular immature male, I still do.
i think leaving periods off texts came from iphones. i'm pretty sure the period is on their special characters keyboard rather than the main keyboard. so using it is a bit of a pain and if there's no reason for it, people just don't bother. or i could be making that all up. i've only texted from an iphone a couple times. but i thought i noticed it then, and formulated this theory. i think eric has a thread for that. ironically, this is the first time i've heard of it as a cooking utensil.
Guess its not really a utensil. Makes it sound like a spoon. More of a heavy duty pot you can use both on the stove top and in the oven
^ cooking tool then. cooking instrument? either way, i always thought it was just a fart. i had no idea it was named after an actual thing.
What a world we live where the action of one or two thumb motions to execute the ending of a sentence can be deemed too much effort. Or be misconstrued as an angry gesture. see how I’m overusing the return button these days........... my thumb looks like Arnolds arm. That’s sarcasm, not anger!
Should they be conformed to in order to make society stronger? I mean, if you say yes you're a communist. You know this right? If you say no then you're just bitching for the sake of it. That makes you the bitter angry straight dude. Which one is it?
What do you mean should they be conformed? Male and female brains are wired differently. This we have different (yet complementary) behavior patterns. You see this in job choices men and women make. The types of movies they like. The types of activities they prefer. There may be outliers here and there, but Gender is not a social construct. I am opposed to forcing a boy to behave like a girl, and vice versa. Yer here we are in 2020 where housewives and full time mothers are vilified for not being in the work force, and all masculine instincts are deemed toxic. It’s sad really Jeez, what do you have against breeders?
Oh, 6. You're too intelligent to believe such bullshit. And I actually DO think our brains are wired differently, and I happen to prefer a more traditional role in my relationships.. But we don't see the evidence (of different wiring) in job roles. That's a cycle, where because as kids we don't see our gender in that role, we never think we can be it. It's partly subconscious. Women took over, during the war, in jobs that were previously men only.. And when the war was over, women weren't like, "oh thank fuck I don't have to do that anymore, it was really messing with my biological programming".. They wanted to keep doing it. There are "feminine roles" and "masculine roles", I agree.. But men and women can be masculine or feminine, or most often, a mixture of both.
Thats such crap I work in a male dominated industry. My hobbies include martial arts and military history. My favorite movie is the one that inspired Kill Bill. We're not all sugar and spice and everything nice. Some of us are Sriracha and spice and something to slice And I don't have anything against "breeders" I'm just weary of those who have an absolute need to fit people into predetermined boxes. Sorry... genitalia doesn't dictate personality
In New Zealand you see far more women in road construction than in the UK. Don't know what that's like in the states.
I mean I'll glance over occassionally to see what it is they are working on, buidling, road, etc. and see a few people but I don't sit there and watch. I've worked a couple intense manual labor jobs and I hated being watched while working.
Not going to read through this whole thing but you want to talk about unpopular opinion around where I'm from. Below is the closing remarks I made in something I had written. These men are not “Sons of Bitches”, they aren’t disrespecting the flag. These men are taking a knee, crying out for help because we have betrayed them. There is an old saying “if there is smoke there is a fire”, well maybe these men have opened our eyes to the fire. If they choose to kneel in peaceful protest, I personally will defend their right even as I stand beside them with my hand on my heart.
