It's not only stupidity though. A certain amount simply doesn't really care about people they don't know. Me neither, to certain extent. But apparently enough to not blatantly put a bunch of others at risk of laying for weeks in a hospital (and get out ok if lucky).
I am somewhat surprised on your stance overall, given that the nature of many of those you admire is grim and frostbitten.
I'm not yet a misanthrope And I admire how they play with such themes (the natural right of the strongest for example) and above all the musical form they pour it all into. Not that they might have committed to such an outlook/way of life themselves. I can respect that in some (depends on the details), but don't admire them for it. I do admire the laws of nature.
it is absolutely true that we are all idiots each in different ways and about different things you will never meet anyone about whom this is not true even our own selves don't punish yourself for it though its not a crime, only being inconsiderate intentionally is that, all other real crimes are forms of intentional inconsiderateness laws that are not based on this do exist that is another of the terrible costs of hating logic.
A moral sense of right and wrong. (Oxford dictionary) conscience. [uncountable, countable] a guilty feeling about something you have done or failed to do She was seized by a sudden pang of conscience. The dog knows it done bad when it shit on the carpet, or snaffled that tasty morsel near the table edge. It is not unique to human. It most likely occurs in many higher order mammals to some degree. Those with a family structure or social hierarchy must have some level of conscience.
I checked out a few other definitions of conscience and they vary slightly from the one that you provided. But for the sake of it let's go with your definition. How do we discern if the dog knows it's done bad based on it's conscience as opposed to operant conditioning? Or is having a conscience a prerequisite for operant conditioning?
Are we not “conditioned” in a similar manner. As would be the pack animal. (I picked the oxford dictionary As it is widely recognised)
I think we are conditioned to not shit on a rug. Which, to me, also seems like an example that doesn't exemplify our conscience.
Huh? I was always told off for lack of punctuation as a school boy. It is correct to add a full stop. (Or period depending on your geographical location.)
And if you accidentally did shit on the rug..... What would your conscience say? The squits do not follow ordinary rules! And it was an example to demonstrate other animals can know the difference between right/wrong as perceived by the human conscience. If untrained, you would shit in the corner furthest from your bed, like a lower class mammal.
