if i ever do anyone elses, i'll do them with backcombing. if i do another set after i'm done playing with this one, i'll backcomb it. twist n' rip confuses me, natural is too much for me. it might take you a few days, even with help, but they'd look pretty alright when you're done, instead of being a rat's nest, not that natural's not the way to go, just for some people it is, for some people, not so much.

Just having trouble washing the under layers.

Rubber bands good? I read it's usefl to hold them together while they lock up.
