A goat can love you for no apparent reason , and upon the moment of your leaving that farm 'n become seen no more , she weeps . Oh , Oreo , I be sorry . . .
I love pigs (except the human variety) While one of our daughters was studying to become a vet, she was always bringing piglets home. The real fun on the pig farm stems from pigs having no sweat glands and having to wallow to keep cool. Since urine causes skin problems, the sow soon teaches the piglets to go outside. When people visit the farm and pick the cute little piglet up, knowing that is is away from the sty or wallow, it goes off like a lawn sprinkler. The visitor soon puts the piglet down and picks up one of its brothers or sisters. Needless to say, within a few seconds the same happens again. Watching it can provide endless fun.
Here's my little pride and joy. he scoots around on the wood and then puts the anchors down and slides with his bum. he's the best.
We had a pig when I was a child we called Suzie. She had a fenced in sty with trees above it that had low hanging branches. We would run around on the branches playing the game "Catch" or "Tag" and jumping from branch to branch. We called the game "Heaven or Hell". While on the branches you were in heaven, if you fell off you were in hell. As Suzie got bigger we'd hop on her for a ride in the sty. Then one day she was gone but had a lot of bacon for awhile.
