This is definitely not my first go at dreads... But anywho, I cut my old set off well over a year ago and have been playing with short hair, but decided to grow out a dreadhawk.. I'm not thinking of just letting the read of my hair grow and get a full head of dreads.. But we shall see. My hair is just barely long enough to dread I think. I don't know, what do you think? Will they just completely fall out and have wasted my time? lol Picture 1045.jpg

Looks like this board is super dead. :( Maybe it was because of the website changes. I don't like them

    You wasted your time.

Your hair's maybe half or a third as long as the bare minimum for dreads to really work.

The longer, the easier. Two or three years of hair growth seems like a good starting point.

Well you were absolutely right. Those fell out and I just waited a bit longer. Now I started them and they are three weeks and dreading just fine! Some of the hair at the sides still too short but not for too much longer.
