Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker

First third and last, 3rd third of Last Jedi was a damn good movie

I fast forward through the bits Finn was on the casino planet with his chubby girlfriend, but other than that, awesome movie

 

I liked it, except the part where they ride those weird horse things. That part was a little trite.

 

I liked Star Wars once upon a time. It’s the fan base that irritates the hell out of me. I don’t care to see it ever again

Spoiler alert:

Near the end of the movie we find out that Luke Skywalker was dreaming all along. He wakes and finds out that his uncle Owen found out that he did not have the units in the south ridge repaired by midday, the previous day, and there is hell to pay.

 

Rey does seem vulnerable to the Dark Side of the Force but her love of Finn will keep her in check

So they build another Death Star, right? Now the first one they built was completed and fully operational before the Rebels destroyed it and the second one was still being built when they blew it up. Something just never sat right with me the second time they destroyed it. I could never put my finger on it-something just wasn't right. Well, the thing is, the first Death Star was manned by the Imperial army-storm troopers, dignitaries- the only people onboard were Imperials. So when they blew it up, no prob. Evil is punished. The second time around, it wasn't even finished yet. They were still under construction. A construction job of that magnitude would require a helluva lot more manpower than the Imperial army had to offer. I'll bet there were independent contractors working on that thing: plumbers, aluminum siders, roofers. In order to get it built quickly and quietly they'd hire anybody who could do the job. Do you think the average storm trooper knows how to install a toilet main? All they know is killing and white uniforms.

 

Remembering his facial expressions during the fatal slash, he looked like he got punched in the gut really hard or like he was trying to take a shit! Answer: Above his balls.
