So don't watch'em. Why look forward to the remake of an old movie if you think it'll be shit anyways? Another Terminator, another Predator, another Star Wars. Fuck that shit.
Lol yeah. I gave up on Terminator after 3. Terminator 2 is a highlight though. Can't blame people for wanting more of it. But that franchise has now long been properly ruined. Even devoted fans secretly know that With all the Star wars stuff (expanded universe rubbish) its hit or miss imo. One thing that kept me interested in it last decade were some good video games. I don't appreciate most of the other stuff (Lego star wars tv show, although i fully understand that's not targeted for the classic fan but to the younguns: lure them in! , books/comics, etc.). And to be honest; the new movies have enough to like, also for the critical fan. I still see myself as one
Man, I watched The Force Awakens and wasn't impressed. Rogue One was better but the last 15 minutes ultimately ruined it. Mostly I think it's because of the abysmal writing that seems to abound these days.
I liked it better the second time i watched it. Finn, Rey and Poe Dameron are great. The overall story and that planet Starkiller far less. Kylo Ren sucks ass Agreed from the moment I watched it its better storywise. Most ingredients fit so to speak. What bothered you about the last 15 minutes? I thought it was great how it connects to A new hope.
That connection is easy to make. Snap of a finger. The final battle is just not believable. People seem to think that because it's sci-fi they can construct whatever story they like. Logic is not essential.
i agree Adam Driver (Kylo-Ren) was completely miscast. The same can be said for Jake Lloyd who played young Anakin Skywalker, Hayden Christensen who played Older Anakin Skywalker, and Ahmed Best who played the voice of Jar Jar Binks
I agree. But it was well executed. I didn't like the monk in Rogue One btw. Sure, he's likeable but he looks too much like the earthly source Lucas used for inspiration for the whole Jedi thing. I don't need or wanna be reminded of that source and our universe when i watch Star wars..
