Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

I'm not sure about Yoda as a main character at first instance. I have the feeling he serves much better as a side character/mentor as so far in the movies. He would surely appear in an Obi Wan focussed story anyway

 

True. Would still like to see his background, his upbringing, how he became so powerful with the force and why the hell is his dialogue in reverse.

 

Lol I assume his fellow whatever he is talk like that too. 'English' might be the main language in the republic, but all planets have their own languages. Maybe in their language they formulate sentences like that and he couldn't get rid of that.
Just because one is a legendary Jedi doesn't mean they have a knack for languages

 

Because Jedi Master Yoda is from an unnamed species, and we know while he was living on Dagobah in the middle of a swamp he’s not indigenous to the planet,
the writers will have a clean slate in which to write his story.

 

All the more reason to make a Yoda movie

That photo made me realise for this movie, they should have just ripped off A fistful of dollars, or one of the othet early Clint westerns.

Well if you recall the Mos Eisley Cantina was nothing short of any saloon you might find in the old west or in any Clint Eastwood movie

But what are we going to get instead? Another boring, shit comic book movie. Another superhero movie, unlike a comic book, but still equally as shit. Another star wars.

I'm looking forward to the new Predator but it'll be shit. The story line is rubbish from what I read. Shit.
Maybe the new alien in a couple years but the last one was shit.
I heard another Terminator is coming out that' s just after T2, but coming off the last 3 terminators, it'll be shit.

 

I think this is going to be the one movie more than the others where Disney should stay out of Star wars.

Han was a smuggler, which no doubt would have included drugs and weapons, even people. Billy Dee Williams played it like the type of guy you never leave your girlfriend alone with.

Bet you we get some PC bullshit about Han always wanting to fight for the resistance, a Lando thats sensitive to womens emotional needs.

You know the CGI is going to look so fake.

Its basically a Die Hard clone. His family is trapped in a high rise. It will be shit compared to Die Hard

 

You have a right to be skeptical about the new Predator movie considering the fact that they had to go back
and do some re-filming which is never good

 

I don't mind if Yoda's origins stay a mystery. In fact might prefer it.

Its a bit unsettling but I'm with VG here: an Obi Wan movie is a better idea. Yoda will be in it.

Agreed, setting and storywise Star wars doesn't get more 'western' than this. But it would be ridiculously awesome if it was shot and build up the same way cinematic-wise as a Leone western (kudos where they are due, Tarantino's style is heavily inspired by Leone). Actually, that still from the Solo movie you posted looks more like it! Oh man...! That would be so cool

 

Yeah, I would settle for just an Obi Wan movie, with Yoda. That would be a good way to go into a little background and I would be happy. But guess what? We aren't going to get any of that shit!
