I'm just gonna watch one or max. 2 an evening. Watching more than 2 movies in a row really doesn't work for me..! So I will be set for over a week Probably gonna play some more Battlefront 2 in between as well Just played it a bit again lately because they added a map set on Geonosis during the clone wars, which looks real good. I like how the movies and these games compliment eachother. I mean as a fan of these worlds and events its fun to actually run (and fly!) around in them right?
I'd probably be a Rebel I think.. I do like the order of the Imperial Army but I don't think I could like that with all the rules. So I'll be a rebel. The Irminfolk Jedi Order. Just a pack of wild jedi women. Pew pew. Zzwwooommmff zzwooooomff bgghhzzzz bghhhzzz
That is the chronology of how events happened within the fictional universe, but there are reasons to not view the movies in that order. Episodes 4 and 5 introduce viewers to the Star Wars characters and universe. Because of that, they are usually the best place to start. Plus, the prequels reveal spoilers for Episodes 4 and 5. Plus, the prequels have neat references to Episodes 4 and 5 that would likely be missed if 4 and 5 were not watched first. Since Rogue One ties so seamlessly into Episode 4, I recommend starting with Rogue One and Episode 4 as one seamless movie, then doing Episode 5, and only then going back to Episode 1 and viewing the rest of the movies chronologically. Also of very high importance is to watch the original versions of Episodes 4 and 5, not the horrible remakes where Lucas destroyed the movies. In the original version of Episode 4, Han Solo was an outlaw who killed a bounty hunter in cold blood to prevent being captured. In Episode 5 he was not committed to the rebellion, but was happy to help when it was convenient. In Episode 6 he volunteered to lead a risky mission for the rebels. By reworking Episode 4 so that Han only fires in self defense, Lucas totally destroys the character arc where Han is reformed from an outlaw to an upstanding member of the rebellion. Likewise, in the original version of Episode 5, at the end when they are trying to escape from Cloud City, Vader says to ready his shuttle, and then you immediately see him on the bridge of a star destroyer that is chasing the Millennium Falcon. You get the clear impression that he is right on their tail as they are fleeing the city. In the revamped Episode 5, after Vader asks for his shuttle, we get to see him take a long slow shuttle ride to the star destroyer, then Vader stops and lets the troops give him proper military honors when he boards the vessel. By the time the parade is over, you've forgotten that there is actually supposed to be a chase going on. In both cases the originals are vastly superior to the remakes.
Suffering from PTSD after the Battle of Endor, Han Solo decides to retire to a life of peaceful contemplation while painting happy little cities in the clouds
Save time. Episodes 1 through 6 at the same time superimposed on top of each other: Star Wars Wars - All Star Wars at Once
Yeah, dont think I could watch Solo again. Parts of it looked great, but its just not about anything. How Han won the falcon in a card game, and thats it, literally not about anything How Han that isnt every Harrison Ford, just some random Swedish guy, won the falcon in a card game, I should say And I really dont care whether Childish Gambino wanted to fuck the robot or not
I can't judge it properly before I watch it in 2d but yeah, the story and especially the plot twists felt kind of uninspired. But I recall it involved a robbery on a mining planet. Young Lando and young Solo were both satisfying cast and played imo.
