Haven't lied about anything or faked any opinions. I watched multiple reviews on both sides of the coin for TLJ & formed my own opinion on it usin' those as my base. I knew I wasn't goin' to waste money on the film after walkin' out of TFA at theaters.

 

I feel like captain Kirk must have whenever Bones and Spock were about to get into an argument.

 

One facepalm is for thinking an opinion on a movie without seeing it yourself is valid.
The other is for rambling about Kirk and Spock in a Star wars thread

I honestly can't pick a fav. Unless we're talking mainly/only TOS of Star trek, then Star Wars beats Star trek big time.

Well I can't post images but either way bullshit. One can easily deduce the nature of a particular film or book based solely on whatever evidence they find. That is how we make judgements on all life as we deal with it. Now if one only considers a single overarching viewpoint on that film or book obviously their judgements cannot be considered valid but when all sides to an argument are considered & judged equally by their own merits the resulting opinion is as sound as it can possibly be. I understand why you would see such things in such a simplified way however. It makes the dismissal of any opinion that contradicts yours far easier.

The majority of professional critics liked the film.
You didn't get your perspective from actual reviews, you got it from angry fanboys with their lists of nitpicks and amateurs trolling for views on youtube.

You were never going to enjoy the movie after getting so invested in hating it anyways... it's just amazing that you grew so invested before you even knew what you hated so much. It would suggest that the movie itself is beside the point.

 

Can't wait for the Tarantino installment!
