I"m rather enjoying it. But I cant disagree with any of that. If you forget its trying to be star trek, its some trippy full on sci fi tv, lots of action And the cast is really growing on me But yeah, they are just not bothering following the timeline are they
Sounds like it might be a worthwhile endeavor! I'm concerned about paying extra for something (subscribing to anything - ever! lol), but I might buy in. Where do they store back-episodes, and where do I sign up?
Yeah, it's on Netflix here too CBS all access in the US, and produced by them, makes me wonder how much more generic the series would be if produced by Netflix, it wouldn't be this trippy. Although the good news is if Netflix is paying for the rights outside US, don't have to worry about the shows US ratings alone to keep it going
I think no. 1 is, Marten-Green isnt a lead actor, she just overacts. Season 1 was all over the place, too much tree hugger crap and it was too much the Michael Burnham show No 2. Referencing Spock all the time I thought was lame, because I thought thats all they were going to do. Didnt think they would actually put the character in, that all makes a lot more sense now No 3. On a personal note: Season 1: Having a gay couple on the show and then portraying them as having this perfect relationship where they just compliment each other all the time was really annoying. Oh please like they arent going to have a big bitch fight every second night. Season 2: They have a big bitch fight Sure there is a bit of the die hard fans just complaining anyway/ Getting used to new characters / The shock of it not really being like any previous series. But I dont think its just that, writers/ priducers did seem to bury the Klingon war thing quickly and make season 2 less about Burnham. Anson Mount, the guy that plays Pike, BTW. Looks like his ancestry is from your neck of the woods, has this Dutch look /Jamie Lannister thing going on
