Why is your opinion of everything the exact opposite of mine? I thought Enterprise was great up to the climatic season 3, but season 4 I found disappointing.
Well, Fear the Walking Dead, which admittedly I am liking more this season. Has one gigantic monumental plot hole at the moment, people fighting over water on one side of a dam, when the dam is daming a giant lake, its not like a couple dozen guys with guns would be able to protect the 50 kms of shoreline of that lake, or all the rivers that flow into it....so derrrrrr why not just walk a couple of kilometres to the lake to get water. Still overlook it to enjoy the show. Something about star trek that brings out the pickiness of the most picky fuckers. A symbol drawn in the sand, seriously, who gives a toss
FTWD went all cowboys and indians this season. I'm quite liking it too. We can agree on that. Everything has a few plot holes but STD is just ridiculous. How long until the storm hits us? Oh, I was raised as a vulcan so I'll give you my best estimate to the second. Don't like any of the characters yet. Bring back Enterprise!
You liked the first two seasons of Enterprise??? Whole episodes devoted to someone getting a mine off the hull, or the asian chic finding a pet worm...was so boring. And you want to talk about stupid plot holes, grappling hooks? How much space would 100kms of cabling, times two BTW, take up?
Aye it had some great episodes! Good character development too. The one where Hoshi got stuck in the transporter for example. Dunno what your on about cables..
Lolz, I just realised thats the acronym....STD! Next sunday Im going to get my STD fix i tell one of my friends. Lolz Yeah, they didnt really think that one through
a black female captain? (or character that will obviously be a captain soon) i havent watched enough to know if they went with the lesbian card yet science officer is an obvious flamboyant homosexual still waiting to see if character cluster includes a muslim and a jew
Actually, think they may be pulling the tranny card, hasnt actually been spelled out she is supposed to be a she, nor has it been spelled out she is fully human. Thats not her real ship anyway, think the storyline goes the jason isaacs guy brings her on to his ship and then whatever. The guy that was in Firefly is supposed to be playing a gay guy, and probably will do so badly
I have a feeling they might have scrapped that idea. Looks like they bottled out, or couldn't pull together a script and just decided to give her a dude's name, which by the way apparently (news to me too) Michael is a unisex name. Not sure why there are women called Michaela though...
Star Trek: Phase II, why it was cancelled before it got off the ground and where the inspiration for later series came from. http://www.syfy.com/syfywire/a-canceled-star-trek-show-from-the-70s-quietly-shaped-every-sequel-since
Episode 3 of Discovery, finally we get to the real series, fuck yeah Sorry, but this shits all over The Orville, like no other sci fi series, I was totally glued for 47 mins, even genuinely scared in parts, and it all looks friggin awesome
Is it going to burn you if it ends up better than every other Trek series? The original series is for the most part unwatchable, TNG hasnt dated well, DS9 was just friggin boring, as was most of Enterprise Not really that hard at all for this series to end up being and improvement on what came before
