I have seen 2001, Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, and Eyes Wide Shut. There are all fantastic movies. He can work well with either mainstream actors (Eyes Wide Shut, or Full Metal Jacket) or with unknowns (2001, Clockwork Orange) and still make a good movie.

    Wouldn't you agree?

Kubrick is one of my favorites.

    Of his films:

2001: a space odyssey ranks as my favorite and A clockwork orange would rank second, then Dr. Strangelove.

I really liked eyes wide shut, full metal jacket was only good in the beginning, Lolita I don't like.

I forgot that 'The Shining' was a Kubrick film. That was a scary movie. The pool of blood coming off of the elevator, 'All Work and No Play, Makes Jack A Dull Boy', etc...

Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke said if anyone figures out what 2001 means then they've failed in their storytelling. Of course I have my own intepretation of the entire movie.
