Hey, I remember you Neuroptican! I'm technically a Bruins fan too, but baseball's my true love. And I have the impression that my boys are going to get slaughtered in the playoffs.

^^And I remember you. Your journal entries are unforgettable. Baseball is my also my true love, played in high school and I'm a huge Astros fan. I used to be a big Red Sox fan until they got good. Now I just feel like I'm on their bandwagon when I root for them, haha.

ain't no way he's mediocre, no matter how hyped you think he is.

I like the Russians though, Ovechkin is awesome

Gawd, you're telling me Neuroptican. I was at the game last night talking with a friend of mine about how we kindof secretly wish the Sox would start sucking again so all the pink hats would get off the bandwagon and let us enjoy our team in peace.

I never hated the Red Sox till the last few years, and now i absolutely despise everything about them

they need to maybe spend less money on their team, its freaking ridiculous. Makes me hope the Yankees win that division, and of course thats not right

Keep in mind, Seamonster, that the Yanks are still the top spenders in baseball by about $70 million. They're still above $200 mil; the next-biggest spenders are (in order) the Mets, Tigers and Sox, all in the $130s.

Still, I can't blame you for hating us. It's lonely at the top. :)

doesn't matter where they fall now, i will hate them for life and hope the stadium gets torn down

I don't mind Detroit and Chicago,

I don't really like the attitude of Boston, people think they are all smart and bars close at 1

But we ARE smart! You can tell how smart we are because we choose to live in a city where the weather is always shitty and all the streets are one way in the wrong direction.

I have to agree, it wouldn't kill them to let the bars (and the T) stay open all night like a real city.

Here's my best argument for loving the Sox: Have you seen Jacoby Ellsbury's ass? OMFG.

i guess some of the people are alright, but for some reason i never get tired making fun of Seattle and Boston

is that they guy who was a rookie last year?

I guess I have seen his ass, but as far as Boston asses go i prefer John Kerry and Ted Kennedy

I never get tired of making fun of Boston either. Did you know that it's rainier than Seattle here? It's true! Windier than Chicago, too.

Oh I know, Kerry's ass, mmmmm. He could make sweet love to me all night long, except that he's a zombie and I don't think zombies get boners.

    rains here a lot too.

I was in Boston in September and it was only a little chilly

zombies probably have erections lasting longer than 4 hours

    Lol

    double lol

That's a flaw in the fantasy system, is all I'm saying. Wouldn't fantasy baseball be better if it included this sentence: "Well, my team has pulled ahead this week thanks to Jose Reyes starting to hit and Ellsbury's sweet, succulent ass"?

Caps all the way. first team in history to go from 14th in the league to making the playoofs, let alone kicking carolina out of top spot and getting 3rd on the eastern conferance! ive got a good feeling about this season, especially now that we have a new coach and the way ovechkin and semin are playing. ovechkin broke the record for most goals scored by left wing last week.
we play tommorow or saturday, i forgot, but those flyers are gonna be out of the playoffs soon.

Stars DOMINATED the Ducks last night. Man, I was so pumped and also impressed, we look like a team that really could go all the way. Morrow, Ribeiro, and Ott had great games, and Richards made himself much more involved and looked like the playoff guy he was touted to be. Also, the farther they go, the more time for Zubov to return, which is bad news for everyone else.
