i love the song.. i find myself listening to it alot. im not really sure what it is about it, i guess because it starts out soft and just gradually grows from there and gets better and better. what do you guys think?
Dude... it's like man.... it's so groovy... it has like hidden meanings and shit... and like, you know... Jimmy Page is like so hot, and Robert Plant is so flamboyantly queer but it doesn't matter because this song is like so cool. I can like play the intro on the guitar and all of my 15 year old friends think that I'm a badass because of it. Do you think that Led Zeppelin smoked pot? I hope so! OMG, this song is like so long and awesome.

Bwahaha!! My days of blind Zeppelin worship are over. I still think they have some decent tunes but they're getting a weeee bit obnoxious over time.
"Stairway to Heaven" is absolutely amazing and will forever be a true classic, but it is not my favorite song by Led Zeppelin. I am not at all directing this to the original poster, but I know a lot of people who only know Led Zeppelin for that one song, which is very sad. They have done so much other work that should also be appreciated. Anyway, I do agree that this song is incredible and one of the greatest songs to ever have been created.
Its decent. Overrated as hell. They had much better stuff, but I'm not too big on Zeppelin anyways so what do I know.
