Also Sunday, Kemp tweeted a photo of five people he said were dressed as members of the New Black Panther Party and were holding signs in support of Abrams. That group is described by the nonprofit Southern Poverty Law Center as "a virulently racist and anti-Semitic organization whose leaders have encouraged violence against whites, Jews and law enforcement officers."

Early Sunday, Kemp tweeted a photo that appeared to show members of the New Black Panther Party stumping for Abrams while openly carrying firearms. He said it was proof that Abrams is a radical.

And relax, before you make any assumptions we are not working for & we did not plan this event with either campaign, and we have members with different political views both here in Atlanta as well as nationwide and even right here in this post. We did this on our own accord in response to the voter registration issue we're still dealing with here in Georgia in 2018 (53 thousand registered voters voices won't be heard this election).

I hope she wins, but that's no way to go about promoting your candidate. I don't like speaking out against their group; I didn't in Sociology and I don't now. But I feel like it's worth mentioning that violence isn't the answer. But they haven't resorted to violence, so I guess it's all good.

 

If Stacey Abrams wants herself aligned with a hate group, I guess that's all good.
