Um... Why do these two look exactly alike? Are they twins?

  11. Val is shorter and I have to admit, it's been a while since I've seen her, she's been back to the buffet a few times it seems. Abrams is one of few democrats who isn't dialing back the rhetoric ahead of the election. Aside from the expected "making history" votes she gets, Stacie has a decent resume, but is baby formula enough experience to run a state?

Kemp is an old school Georgia crony. He has business and political relationships in the state that span decades. And so far, it looks like he's playing it safe and letting Stacie run with whatever is put in front of her. I'm pretty sure now that Secretary of State is a sort of "Freddie the Fixer" kind of role.

"Stacey". I misspelled her name in the title.

Maybe some mod can fix it and make it "Exact Match Compliant".

That’s it, that’s your political comment, the political issue you want to bring up and discuss? That they look like each other - nothing about his policies they might support or political issues they might have commented on?

I remember a few years ago someone telling me she was going to vote for a certain political leader and when I asked why she’d replied that she thought him handsome. I quickly established that this woman knew nothing about the political stance, she had seen a picture of him, thought he was handsome and so was going to vote for him. I thought of the hardships and trials that the suffragettes had had to endure to try and get this woman the vote and wept.

Stacey Abrams plays the victim role and I don't respect her. That's my opinion, in a nutshell.

I don't have anything to say about Valerie Jarrett.

That's all I have to say, atm. I'm pressed for time.

    What?

    Why?

And was that really what you were trying to say in the OP?

Who's on first? I'm at th emergency room now and have no intention of going several days back to come up with anything other than what I said originally. I think the resemblance between Stacey Abrams and her supporter, Valerie Jarrett is amazing.

Still not sure what A meant by this and I get the feeling she’s not going to explain so I looked Stacey up and I'm still mystified by the comment.

I did find out a lot about underhand voter suppression going on in Georgia that seems to be all about stopping black people from voting – sounds like something out of 1950’s America not 2018.

I wonder if A thinks Stacey ‘plays the victim role’ because she s complaining about the voter suppression, I don’t know A isn’t talking. But really if you find out that the person standing in an election is the same person that is supposed to make sure the vote is fair, it doesn’t smell right. Then to find out that person is wilfully using their position to try and suppress the vote of their opponent then it stinks to high heaven.
