I'm Going To Throw Out A Challenge Here, I Defy Anybody To Watch The Entire Clip And Not Jump To Their Feet And Start Dancing, Even GLEN Managed To Make A Moove Of Two.... Cheers Glen.
thats a rigged challenge, anyone that thinks bruce is a douche would never watch that whole clip, they would go insane doing so. it would be like me watching the whole quadrophenia tour concert. without some real compensation besides "i think you will jump up and start dancing" there is no motivation to watch the whole clip if you werent already a fan.
you don't like Quadrophenia..... if you just mean the tour, yeah that sucked hard, but the actual album is one of the all time greatest......IMO didn't Kieth bring that tour to an early end?
Just looking it up on Wikipaedia. Born in the USA came out in 1984 That was the year of Van Halens Hot for teacher and Metallicas Ride the lightning. I would have been around 12, at that time was either into Heavy Metal or disco, totally overlookeed everything in between Born in the USA was huge here, as it was in the rest of the world, and I'm sure some of those other songs listed were too, but I wasnt really paying attention, dont really remember much about him at all back then in his heyday Same thing with Jimmy Barnes and Cold Chisel here, similar to Springsteen in that they were blue collar pub rock, did not pay attention at the time, even though they were one of the biggest bands around
I'm Seriously Surprised You Didn't Have A Big Poster Of Him On Your Bedroom Wall, At The Age Of 12, 30 Years Ago Bruce Was All Sweat, Suntan, And Muscles...:drool5:. Nowdays, Tis Obvious The Body Has Aged, But The Voice Remains The Same...:2thumbsup:. No Wonder He Was Called "The Boss"...:guitarist: Cheers Glen.
after reading asmods post it looks like i wasnt the only one. no i am not a who fan, i dont like anything they did although i can see why they are liked. some of the songs are catchy even if they hurt my ears. damn that reminds me, there is one song i liked but cant remember what one. if i can find it i will let you know. edit: i like happy jack and eminence front. also if you asked me when i was a kid if i liked some of the songs they did i would say yes (although at that time i didnt know they did those songs) but when i started working i heard the more popular songs so many times on the radio that i am tired of them to the point of exhaustion and i never put a single one of those songs on,,,on purpose
