Spring into Action Atlas supposedly carries the world upon his back, But it is woman who roars like a lion, And purrs like a kitten, Who holds up even the ground, And, from whom all life springs! To be true to herself, Embracing humble simplicity, As well as, the elegance of nature, The cat is on the prowl! And, preparing to pounce! Ready, to spring into action! Discovering what new playmates might await! And satisfaction in doing what she was born to do.
This is a great example of how Oneness Poetry treats the subject of homosexuality and sexuality in general. Although homosexuality is not accepted in patriarchal Chinese society, their religion of Taoism included a transvestite who dressed as a woman who was worshiped as one of eight gods or enlightened beings who sometimes roamed the earth. Its a touchy subject for even Oneness Poetry but, like anything I write, I just do the mathematics and try to help the words say as much as they possibly can on their own. I've had women beg me to write sexy poetry, and had to tell them its all math to me and I have no clue what a lot of poems are supposed to be about until I write them. This one is mild compared to some of our poems that support alternative lifestyles and sexuality. Nobody can poke more fun at you than your own peers, and you get everyone's opinion in our poetry.
