Bareheaded and barefoot, Shahin the acrobat stepped onto the tightrope, over which the breeze alone passes without fear. Shahin, the falcon, feared no danger, asked for God’s help and crossed over to the other bank. And the little falcons, his apprentices, passed over the chasm. Above the water, on which the sun glistened, they looked like pearls strung on a thin thread. The deep gorge beneath them, the distant heavens above them. And they on the unsteady tightrope, on the dangerous path of life.
We do not bend our knee in supplication to the gods or goddess, nor do we beg them to do for us. Rather, we ask them to help empower us to do for ourselves. We neither need, nor ask our gods forgiveness, we were not born to fear sin. We were born to be the best that we can. If you take the time to reflect this upon yourself, I believe you will find in your heart, the characteristics of many gods and goddess' which is key to understanding what spirituality is best suited for your being and persona.
