spiders: do you kill them or relocate them outside?

Anyhow, spiders are pretty cool. They help keep the insect population under control as they catch them in their webs.

If one gets in my way I usually blow it away or grab some of it's suspension silk and toss it somewhere else. Other than that they can make good company as long as they don't bite.

 

we do get these monstrously huge orange spider colonies on my front porch. it keeps people from coming to the door. i may be inclined to leave them be.

 

aw, c'mon! singing god bless america with a buncha drunk friends waving their nasty beer around and singing loudly and off key is one of the greatest moments in sports! even our italian friends thought it was a hoot.

 

Those pesky little critters can make for some tough targets.

 

Given how many tens of thousands of spiders there are per acre of land I wouldn’t worry too much about squashing one or two

I kill them. It's not like there is a shortage.

I know they eat other bugs, but they need to stay in the basement and out of my sight.

 

I move them outside. My dog will eat them and gag otherwise. I kill mosquitos, ants, and flies because they are pests. Spiders and most other bugs I relocate and leave be.

 

Depends on how fast it is usually. I don't like them crawling on me. Fast ones get crushed.

 

I once relocated a mouse to another part of town. It was in my kitchen garbage, and we were going out anyway...

There is no point in taking a mouse outside otherwise, because they already know how to get in. We use traps.

 

as long as they're minding their own business, i just let them be. if they start sprinting toward me or my bed, i generally kill them.

i am in that general area, but i'm only interested in sex.

Personally I'm scared of spiders so I usually run away when i see one!

 

i used to have to deal with those bitches a LOT. fucking hate 'em. here we get lots and lots of black widows. GOD they make a mess when you squash 'em.

I like to leave them alone. At the lake I put them outside... but in my home I usually just leave them. I love spiders, and have never had a bad experience - yet. I think they are good luck omens. Protective. But I am kinda nutty.

 

I usually run away from them and let someone else catch them.

I hate killing them. When I was little my mum said that it was just the daddy spider going out for food and his family will be expecting him home soon, so now I can't kill them.
