Spice Gold vs Real Weed

I think spice is great, although i find it leaves really tired, but i have a question, is it legal to drive under the inlfuence of spice as apposed to weed?

 

It is illegal to drive under the influence of any drug that impairs mental or motor skills. It doesnt matter what drug you are using if an officer suspects that your ability to operate a motor vehicle is impaired by the influence of any drug, legal or otherwise, than you will most likely be asked to submit to a field sobriety test. Where upon it is the officers decision to determine whether or not you are Driving Under the Influence.

Personally I think I could pass all of the physical sobriety tests, like walking the line or touching the tip of your nose while under the influence of Spice Gold. The mental tests like reciting the alphabet and shit like that may be a little more challenging. But even if you pass all of those tests the officer can still arrest you for DUI based on the nystagmus and pupillary reflex test. This is usually the first test used by an officer to observe the movement of the eyes following an object and the reaction time of your pupils adjusting to a flashlight going on and off. When you are high for example your pupils are dilated and react very slowly when turning lights on and off and Ive noticed this happens when I smoke Spice Gold as well. The eyes do not lie and if an officers sees that your eyes are dilated and have a slower reflex time to his flashlight that is enough for him to issue a DUI arrest.

 

Does anyone actually have a story of actually getting caught smoking this stuff by a cop and getting away with it? I've never heard a story of anyone using legal herbs like spice or salvia and getting confronted.

I wouldn't tempt the police. I'm sure they could find something to charge you with.

Biggest difference I've noticed between Spice Gold and weed is that weed is a lot more happy and giddy, which is where a lot of the fun comes from. I mean you can be goofy as hell on Spice Gold but it isn't as free flowing as weed IMO. Still though, I'd prefer it to nothing if I were drug tested.

Hey guys... about 10 min ago, had 4-5 huge bong hits of spice gold...

It is not at all what I expected... I actually like this as much as weed.... I think.

Anyhow, here are the stats:

1. Some folks wrote the mental thing is not there... That kind of first turned me off, as the thinking is the best part of weed... but I donno, I feel the mental thing there... it seems something else is missing. The heaviness (tiredness) of weed is not there... neither is the paranoia (but I don't get that often, and tonight is no exception).

2. What I'm finding is the "relaxation" part of weed is defiantly present. I have an incredibly stressful mental job, and weed is what really keeps me saine... truth be told, if it came to giving up weed due to drug laws.. I would require a doctors note... it keeps me out of the psych ward... anyhow, I believe I may be rambling.

the relaxation part is there... the world as I usually know it is gone, and its not a very trippy separation... but its there.. the stress is gone... I'm going to listen to some bob marley.

Anyhow, guys/gals... it is definitely worth the price to at least try....

Just had to post here since it was this thread that inspired me to buy some spice gold.

So... here goes..

Pro's:

1. The high is so similar to weed it's incredible - lasts much longer too.

2. Smells very nice... almost like one of those scented candles or sweet incense. The scent of the smoke does not linger for long either. I do not know about if the scent lingers on clothing - if I smoke ANYTHING I will change clothes afterwards.

3. Mixes very well with weed. When I mix the two, the weed just barely overpowers the spice so the harshness level isn't that bad when they are combined

4. Excellent customer service from spiceworld420.com - each time I had a question about the status of my order (they were sold out when I first ordered, but were quickly back in stock) I had the answer in my inbox already.

5. Fast delivery. It was sent USPS and took three days to get here.

6. It does not burn fast like Salvia - if you're not hitting the bowl it will go out quickly.


Con's:

1. The smoke is VERY harsh. Do not take this as me saying it tastes bad - it actually tastes much as it smells, but the smoke tore my throat up on my first hit. I basically have to smoke it differently... when I smoke weed I take huge strong hits, with spice I have to basically fill the pipe up and then slowly sip on it until it's cleared out... if I take it all at once it hurts bad.

2. It kinda gives me a headache. It's a tolerable headache though, and if I feel the urge to get rid of it a simple tylenol does the job. I would not recommend smoking it if you already have a headache prior though.

3. It's kind of expensive. $45 for 3g is kind of pricy - while this is a con for me I can see how the service and the security would be a pro for others. The was great and it would definitely be a viable alternative for me if I could not smoke weed for any reason. For me personally, I will not regularly buy it since I can get more bang for my buck with weed - it will be a nice "every once in a while" thing.

4. It does seem to kind of have an after effect as well. During the first couple of days I was smoking only spice I seemed to have a harder time doing stuff (work, driving, etc) while sober. I tested this by switching back to weed for a week and everything returned back to normal - since then I have been mixing the two and it's seemed to stay normal. This could be a fluke, but I feel honestly it's worth mentioning.

5. There's alot more resin. I've had to do alot more cleaning than usual - definitely a bummer for me because I cannot always perform such a task when needed with my current living situation.


Other similarities to weed:

1. Eyes still turn red, you will keep having to buy the expensive as fuck visine or the generic shit that still works just not as well.

2. Still get the munchies... especially with the way the stuff smells.

3. Sleepy... I'm the kind of person that will fall fast asleep if I'm high on weed and have nothing to do to occupy myself. This is just me, it's not everyone... but you select few whom are like me - we shall unite one day and take over the world, and then have a nap.

4. Still get cottonmouth

I noticed how a lot of people talk of the red eyes and other random side-effects that are similar to weed.

I just thought I should add that my eyes do not get red, but more glassy like when someone is drunk. Also, the general look of exhaustion or being really tired (because whenever I'm high someone just HAS to point out the fact that I look really tired) is not there. It's still fairly obvious that you're on something from looking at the eyes. Eye drops won't help glassy eyes. Though I've gone to work more then once while on this and no one has ever said a thing.

Unlike weed, this stuff does not make me tired or help me sleep. It's the same as going to sleep sober. I found that to be disheartening. One of my favorite things about weed is it's ability to help one sleep.

The cottonmouth I experience on Spice Gold isn't as much as what I get on weed. But neither of them affect me much in the first place. Sometimes I don't get cottonmouth at all on weed, or it's so minimal that I don't notice. I'm just weird.

The lingering effects of the high are quite strange. You feel off and it's almost like the lingering effects of a DXM trip (The 2nd day after a trip, where things are still slightly....strange). The high does last at least twice as long, and that's great because weed only lasts about an hour before things start to diminish quickly (for me, tolerance is a bitch =P).

The price is a huge killer for me as well. For that price I might as well just buy weed. I can get it right away, as opposed to waiting a few days. Weed also has many medicinal properties that this does not. Helps cure my anxiety and stress issues. I honestly feel more functional when I'm high. This stuff simply gets you high, no healing to speak of.

I'm done. I felt like ranting and I did =P

 

What about the memory??.. at least in my case my short term memory works perfectly with spice..when on weed.. :S, I forget everything.. and i hate that.

 

Ive seen the Crow twice, while very high on weed and I still can not remember a thing about that movie.

 

Weed seems to affect my short term memory, but minimally (it's not much worse when I'm high as opposed to when I'm sober).

Spice Gold doesn't seem to mess with it much either. Probably about the same as weed.

 

so do all the other blends on spiceworld420 get you high? which ones are the strongest and which ones are the weakest?

 

Don't really know. They all seem to do around the same thing with sliught variation. I've tried 99-0 Chillin', Gold Star, Red Planet and I think something else. Anyway, those are all great.

 

are the differences describable?

 

Red Planet is more mellow (then Spice Gold), Gold Star is a lot like Red Planet but slightly more psychedelic. 99-0 Chillin' seems to combine Red Planet, Gold Star, and Spice Gold. In my opinion, 99-0 Chillin' is the best.

 

my old roommate ordered some and let me try it, and i personally thought spice gold was the twitchy robotic clone mistake of weed...

 

This stuff is awesome....smoke just 2 bowls of this and im stoned....last saturday i smoked about 8 bowls over a few hours....i dont know if it was because i was thinking about it or if it was real, but i started to have a salvia trip....everything went 2-D and everything i saw wasnt objects, it was just a painting or something so i had no clue where i was and i kept walking in circles around my room trying to think of what i was suppose to be doing, and then i started focusing and i managed to get back on my bed and wait a while till i came down....this stuff can be intence....its definatly better than a lot of weed i've had in the past, not as good as the feeling as great weed...this stuff makes your thoughts fucked...and makes me very tired and hungry...it lasts way longer than weed...if i smoke a bowl or two in the evening, by the time i go to work the next morning i feel all burnt out, so thats a downside...i give it 8/10...definatly worth the money to try

 

Hrm so my friend just informed me that this is illegal in 47 of the 50 us states? or something...Is he just incorrect?

I've had it, shit did I feel ripped off. I tried three times on different days, but the best I got was a kind of muggy feeling, not a high at all.

Blue lotus doesn't smoke well, to be honest, it's meant to be activated best with alcohol. You soak it up in a bottle of wine fora couple of days and eat/drink it. Smoking you get nothing. It's got a low end kind of E feel to it done right. I've never tried skullcap.
