Space Rock

I wonder if there's any other space rock bands out there besides Hawkwind, Gong and Pink Floyd (the days before the Meddle album)?

 

Hi. There are indeed. Here are some of my favorite space rock bands (excluding the ones you already mentioned) and some of my favorite tracks by them:



Steve Hillage
Tracks: Palm Trees, Serotonin

Ash Ra Tempel
Tracks: Midnight on Mars, Deep Distance (probably my all time
favorite track), Ocean of Tenderness.

Here and Now band
Track: Nearer now



Then there are other good space rock bands that I happen to know are good, but haven't actually got round to looking into yet, such as:

Ozric Tentacles (Have a good reputation, so probably well worth a listen)
Tangerine Dream
