most of this crap are studies (if you can call them that) that are actualy put out by pr firms, paid for by the meat industry...
just like the meat industry in commercials are starting to take a very anti vegatarian edge lately, attempting to demoraize vegatarians, & scare them back to eatting meat...
all it proves is that more & more people are choosing to go veg & its really starting to work..hrting the meat industry
personaly i love soy & i'm not about to stop eatting it based on bogus studies

every industry, especialy the food & drug industries use these bogus studies to push theyre products..they actualy pay for time on the news to get these studies out there as facts, this is why one day eggs are good for you the next day theyre not, & so on, the only way toreally get facts would be tostudy medical journals & ook into actual reputable studies..
but in general its fairly safe to just ignore everything you hear & just eat what you want

GEE RAT, thanks for PROVING MY POINT BY MENTIONING THE SAME FUCKING SITES I DEBUNKED EARLIER IN THIS THREAD.

THEY WANT YOU TO BUY MEAT! YOU CAN BUY IT RIGHT THRU THEIR WEBSITE.

    http://www.***********/forms/ostrich.htm

DUH, are you really that STUPID that you can't see thru this?

Oh, that's right YOU FALL FOR EVERY CONSPRIRACY THEORY out there.

How about THIS conspiracy, by the MEAT INDUSTRY to get you eating MORE MEAT?

You've just lost whatever credibility you had with me...

Now I can just ignore your posts from now on... :)

    Right ON, Soaring Eagle! :)

I love how RAT just proved this point! Same fucking studies get brought up again and again in the same thread trying to prove the same LIES!

What really gets me is how ppl are SO FUCKING STUPID to believe these lies.

OK, if you have an allergy (as I've ALSO MENTIONED BEFORE IN THIS THREAD), then fine, don't eat soy. Lots of people are allergic to beans. But don't put down SOY just cause YOU can't eat it.

And STOP SPREADING LIES ABOUT IT!

Well I wasn't acting this way until people POSTED UP THE SAME CRAP cause they couldn't be bothered to read the thread, and then I must REPEAT MYSELF AGAIN AND AGAIN. Yes, that makes me tempermental. Deal with it, like I have deal with this BUSHIT over and over.

Maybe I'll just delete repetitive posts like it says in our guidelines. Then I don't need to reply to bushit again and again.

So because Mercola is advertising ostrich meat on his website, he must be a shill for the meat industry? Wow! Talk about a conspiracy theory with no basis. And what exactly did you debunk, other than pointing out that Mercola has a link to a site that sells ostrich meat?

You are awfully quick to call those who have a different viewpoint than you "stupid" or "gullible." If the same rules applied to you that apply to everyone else, you would have yourself been banned long ago. But that's impossible since you run this website, and whatever you say goes. So instead you can ban anyone who dare disagrees with you. I guess that's a good way to quell any dissent and keep people quiet, huh? How very "democratic" of you. Everyone who doesn't spew what you want them to spew is telling "lies," and thus subject to being banned. Only Skip has the right answers.

How dare you call this a free speech website, sir!

    From the Ostrich Ad:
"*********** is now the world's only provider of ostrich meat with Omega-3!"

Got it? They aren't just advertising it, HE'S SELLING IT, exclusively! At least I read what I link to, and I read that a long time ago.

If he hypes SOY on his site, then that's LESS MEAT he sells. Which is exactly the same view the MEAT industry has. And he also hypes buffalo meat on his website too.

Boy you really are brainwashed, or ignorant. Can't decide which.

Why must I SPELL everything out for you people? Seems younger generations have problems thinking on their own. They've gotta go with the spin, whatever it is, rather than think it all out themselves.

Uh, that person was already banned (we got complaints) and had returned. So there you go RUSHING to judge me again. Oh well, I'm used to it.

I'm not responsible for the fact that YOU CAN'T BE BOTHERED to read what was already posted. So you made duplicate posts, nearly identical to what has come before.

    Doesn't THAT seem odd?

You come here repeating exactly the same spiel that others said, with exactly the same links. Not the first time I've seen you do that. Either you are too lazy to look beyond the first two Google links, or you're too lazy to think, period.

If I had to delete your duplicate posts PR, most ranting on and on about the same thing, you'd have a fraction of what you show now.

    THAT is against forum guidelines.

Yet I tolerate it. So take your crap and eat it! :)

If it wasn't for me upholding YOUR RIGHT to FREE SPEECH, you'd've be gone long ago.

Count your blessings while you still got 'em.

    Oh, one last thing...

THIS IS THE VEGETARIAN FORUM, and this thread contains NUMEROUS, REPEATED LINKS TO THE SAME SITES HYPING MEAT. So you people linking to such sites shouldn't even be in this forum, much less telling vegetarians what they should and shouldn't be eating!

And now that we're so off topic, time to close this loser thread.
