but i have to admit, im quite grateful to live in Canada (especially quebec), so few murders, people are nice overall, cops are really smooth on drug laws, you got a tam tam gathering downtown every week, coffee smoke shops are opening here and there (you can bring your pot and smoke, and some actually even sell you some)... if Stephen Harper doesn`t do anything stupid in the next few months, Canada rocks

Generalizers piss me off... I've met quite a few people from the North that I like, but it seems like they're alot more on the edge.

Two percent of the people in the South even owned slaves by 1861 and New York City in its entirety was built by slaves, it's just that they got rid of them ahead of time and made everyone down here scapegoats because of Charleston being built by them. (There's quite a few segregated cemteries between NYC and Jersey). It's just a widely accepted excuse for doing what they did... they basically decided to take over all the industry and whipped that out (and I know alot of you are into conspiracy theory, there's one for you, if you wish to call it that) which is why reconstruction lasted a hundred years. Grant didn't do shit, everyone was still a Democrat back then, and they had to wait till FDR came around with the new deal before anything happened.

Either way, most of us don't really care... unless you're one of those supremacist/kkk types. I'm just an SCV member and we condemn them even being here.
