it can be strange and hard to tell what month it is sometimes, but i've never lived anywhere else, so i can't compare

Just moved to SoCal myself! I'm living in northern San Diego county - Oceanside! It's gorgeous. I've lived in Tejas my whole life and just moved here about 2 weeks ago. What's bomb diggity outrageously fun to do around here? Any cool cats wanna hang out?

 

But it pours. Man, it pours.

The sad part for someone like me who digs the rain is that it usually only occurs at night and lasts approximately 10 minutes. But I lift my face to it when I can!

I don't live in that area 'bout 80 miles north, but I guess it depeneds on what you like to do. If you like the outdoors, the Cleveland National Forest is not far away. There's also some drum circles around San Diego.

 

Apparently California knows how to party.

 

In respomse to the past few posts: if you happen to be in the OC area, we have the Silverado/Black Star canyon area (I've been wanting to see BSC for a while now...) not to mention Irvine Lake. I went to a ren faire there this yr for my b-day & it was quite nice!

 

Looks like I'll be heading out of Missouri for the Tecopa area by Christmas. Anyone have any points or plants of interest to mention in the area?

 

Well, got here sooner than I thought. Awful nice to not need 20 layers of clothing in November. Lucky me I got a sweet lil' job at a Hostel near China Ranch Date farm. This place is so much more than I expected or hoped for in all the right way's. Nice Karmic payback for the past two years of B.S.,,wait, make that the past 38 years of B.S. I've had to contend with.
