    Let me clear up the confusion.

    International court did not side with China's military incursion into the South China Sea. China had said that it wasn't going to listen to the courts decision. The video in the link outlines why China is trying for the oil and gas fields in the South China Sea. They do not want to further pollute themselves burning coal, they require the gas fields in the South China Sea to do this.

    What else they could do with the oil and gas fields?
