Sorta silly but...

Well this IS sorta silly but how old should a boy friend be like IM 14 now and what ranges is appropriate. I know some people will be inclined to ahve a older guy because well theres not too meny gay people out in the open. Heres any ways. So I was wonder what ages is apropriat like 14-17? or what?

not to mention that at age 14 anyone that touches you will be breaking the law, if you feel isolated join a youth group

It's not illegal if the two people are both under the age of consent though, is it? I've never been sure about that and would like to know.

 

Well it doesn't really matter if you love the person. You're 14, and I'd say you could date someone up to 17 or 18 without much question, but higher then that and people would talk behind your back. Say if you were 30 and you dated somone that was 37, it wouldn't matter nearly as much. Young years are very controversial among the young and old.

I'm 18, and I'd date anyone from 16 to like 20 or 21. However I'd prefer someone who is 17-19. My boyfriend turns 18 in like a week =P

 

in the uk the age of consent is 16, so anyone over the age of 16 would be breaking the law dating somone younger than 16

But...those relationships of sorts in which youre simply dating, and not necessarily in love, well...I dunno. Its all up to you.

Yeah, it's rare for the police to find out and pursue people who are close in age, but one is over the age of consent. Say like 16 and 18. I'd have to say although that is technically illegal, it would be of no concern to me if I were the 18 year old. (Talking US terms, the consent age is 18)

 

it would depend on what age group you see as being a child, I think at the age of 14 a person is still a child, they may be mature, they may be boardering on adult hood, but they are still none the less a child

Ah suck! Making friends isn't hard. But at the same time it is. Try making friends in your area over myspace if your shy. That's how I met 2 of my boyfriends. It works out surprisingly well. Be careful though =P
