Sore Spot

  1. Literally.
If I have a plug up my ass, the anal opening can feel a little sore in patches, like when skin gets rubbed too much. Do I need more lube along the base of the plug or more lube along my anal area? It all feels too fucking exciting to be spoiled by a little itching. Ideas?

Most definitely yes. The Anus isnt self lubricating like other areas as its not a natural activity .

I would recommend you get the special lube designed for Anal toys as it has a thicker viscosity than normal lube .

I would also cease Anal activity in the mean time until the soreness has ceased . If the soreness does not go away then please seek medical help.

  3. Thank you! Indeed, I have plenty of the appropriate lube and do apply it generously. The itch goes away soon after removing the plug. This is a new, um, area of activity for me, so I'm still on "the learning curve."

I've been using Slippery Stuff Lube for years now. Not only does it work well, I read it's one of the healthier lubes you can use for anal play.
