In the night there is no need to fear, For centuries mankind has had a guide. Unwavering, they never disappear, They are unchanging like the ceaseless tide. Through the widest seas they help us sail, So comforting when everything seems lost. If our devices should decide to fail, They will be there to help and charge no cost. How rare it is when we give our respect, To those golden points that lead to home Their debt it seems we will not soon collect, In the meantime we will always roam. To those stellar hands I give my praise, May they guide our world through all its days.
I like this. After being out in the country and seeing that full-blown night sky, I appreciate this. Alas, I am back in the city, robbed of this, my and every soul's birth-right!
