Back in the mid-late 70's I worked at a golf course as the assistant superintendent of greens (Think Bill Murray in caddyshack) Anyways this song seemed to be the "every three songs filler" on just about any station that could be tuned in. We were unloading 2 tractor trailer loads of fertilizer this one day and I gave this one useless kid the job of making sure "Popsicle Toes" DID NOT COME ON THE RADIO! If it started change stations, I did not want to hear this song. He sat next to the radio all morning and was really good at quickly changing stations...

We were sitting down at our lunch break and mid sandwich this song came on the radio... I grabbed the loaded 22 Cal rifle sitting next to me, that was used for various varmints that tore up golf courses, and shot the radio... As soon as the smoke began to clear and people started getting their eardrums back together this other kid said ... "Hey! ... That was my radio"
